- 1. Lehi Pioneers
The reigning 5A state champions have looked unstoppable all season and that continued on Friday with their 59-0 thrashing of Copper Hills. Quarterback Jackson Brousseau Jackson Brousseau 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB Lehi | 2023 State UT is top three in the state in passing touchdowns, and the Pioneer’s defense has only given up one touchdown all season. Lehi has a great test this Friday as their set to take on the second ranked team in our 6A rankings the Corner Canyon Chargers. - 2. Timpview Thunderbirds
The Thunderbirds notched another impressive win over a 6A opponent as they played at Bingham and beat the Miners 49-30. Micah Beckstead Micah Beckstead 5'11" | 210 lbs | RB Timpview | 2023 State UT ran wild as Timpview secured another victory by controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The Thunderbirds are 4-0 but will have another tough test on their hands this week when they take on the top team in our 6A rankings, the Skyridge Falcons. - 3. Stansbury Stallions
The 4-0 Stallions lead the state in points scored with 230 on the season. Athlete Mateaki Helu Mateaki Helu 6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH Stansbury | 2023 State UT leads the state in rushing touchdowns with 10, and quarterback Ezra Harris is tied for top three in the state in passing touchdowns. This is Stansbury’s first appearance in the top three and if they keep their momentum up, they could climb even higher. - 4. Springville Red Devils
The Red Devils nearly lost their bout with Bountiful a week earlier and in week four, suffered their first loss of the season to the Riverton Silverwolves 22-15. Running Back Tevita Valeti had another productive game, but a late punt return for a touchdown by the Silverswolves sealed the Red Devils’ loss. However, Springville’s defense has been doing its part and once the offense begins to click again, few teams in the state will be able to hang with the Red Devils. - 5. East Leopards
The Leopards captured a huge victory on Friday night when they beat our fourth-ranked team heading into week four, the Parky City Miners, 21-14. Yes, East is 2-2, but one of those losses is to Skyridge and the other to an Orem team who may be struggling right now but is always a tough out. Few teams in 5A could score on the Leopards or deal with their physical rushing in attack. - 6. Park City Miners
Speaking of Park City, the Miners suffered their first loss after being shut out in the first half vs. East. The Miners would respond in the second half but couldn’t stop the Leopards when they needed to, leading to the narrow loss. - 7. Timpanogos Timberwolves
The Timberwolves make their first appearance in our top 10 after moving to 4-0 and outscoring opponents 182-64. Running Back Luke Livingston Luke Livingston 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Timpanogos | 2024 State UT has 10 touchdowns on the season, while the Timberwolves defense has five players with at least three sacks. - 8. Brighton Bengals
The Bengals got their first dominant win of the season when they throttled Highland 49-7 to move to 3-1. Quarterback Jack Johnson Jack Johnson 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Brighton | 2024 State UT threw five touchdowns in the first half to give the Bengals some momentum heading into their Region 6 bout with Olympus. - 9. Bonneville Lakers
The Lakers moved to 4-0 after their 27-0 victory over Mountain Crest. Quarterback Jaxon Johnson is off to a strong start as he leads the Lakers in rushing and passing yards on the season. Bonneville will have their first tough tests this Friday when they take on the potent Viewmount Vikings in a Region 5 showdown with significant implications. - 10. Olympus Titians
The Titans started their season with a narrow loss to Mountain Ridge but since have looked complete. Olympus has outscored their opponents 135-29 to help them move to 3-1. Defensive back Nash Taylor Nash Taylor 6'2" | 205 lbs | DB Olympus | 2024 State UT leads the Titans into their big showdown with Brighton.
