After running for over 1,500 yards as a junior, and helping BVNW to a state title, Stubblefield picked up where he left off last season, rushing for 283 yards on 39 carries and 2 TDs, as well as a 4-yard TD catch. Stubblefield showed off the same gliding, weaving running style coupled with excellent anticipation, that made him a nightmare for opposing defenses last season. He looks to have added some muscle to his frame over the off season and is much more explosive coming out of his cuts.

Whitworth is the typification of a gamer at QB, with an innate knack for making plays in pressure situations, and the senior showed it yet again week 1 against a loaded East of Saline squad, all be it in a losing effort. In a hostile environment against a tough opponent, Whitworth responded with a scoring drive every time his team needed one, finishing the game with 18 completion out 25 attempts, 264 yards and 4 total TDs. Whitworth has a very quick release with some juice on the ball, and he can throw on the run rolling to his left or right.

[player_tooltip player_id='262769' first='Emmitt' last='Peters'] Jr – Blue Valley Southwest High School, 6'2 190 (PRZ Jr DB5)

Write this kid's name down, because he has the potential to be the best defensive player in his class before the curtain falls on his high school career. Peters Jr was all over the field, racking up 11 total tackles (9 solo) and an interception, leading the Southwest defense in a valiant effort against 12th ranked Blue Valley, who boasts a loaded receiving corps. Peters possesses excellent range and fluidity, as well as a D1 body at 17 years old. What truly makes him stand out however is his football IQ and savvy. For a kid one game into his junior season in high school, he patrols the deep half with complete confidence, rarely taking false steps with a sixth sense for finding the football. In addition, he comes up with turnovers when the lights are on brightest, recording multiple turnovers in last year's playoffs.
