South Pointe vs. Olympic (Charlotte, N.C.) (5:30pm) – QB Malachi Marshall is the assumed starter while Caleb Sims will anchor things in the backfield. [player_tooltip player_id='139304' first='Chris' last='Dixon'] and A.J. Miller returns on the defensive line and Demari Kendrick looks to emerge as a leader at wide receiver.

Northwestern vs. Dutch Fork (7pm) – We can assume that Greer Hopkins will get the nod at quarterback for the Trojans. [player_tooltip player_id='265222' first='Turbo' last='Richard'] will provide a nice safety blanket in the run game and [player_tooltip player_id='146372' first='Elijah' last='Caldwell'] will be a top target in this scrimmage and beyond. [player_tooltip player_id='44974' first='Aliam' last='Appler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='91136' first='Jarvis' last='Green'] are two of the leaders to watch for the Silver Foxes.

Catawba Ridge vs. Cuthbertson (7:30pm) – Nate Thomas will have a full season at quarterback and it will be interesting to watch his development before the season kicks off next week against Fort Mill. [player_tooltip player_id='262619' first='Tyler' last='Jones'] will accompany him in the backfield and on defense, linebacker Brody Teismale makes his return to action after missing the 2021 campaign.

Nation Ford vs. Porter Ridge (8:30pm) – [player_tooltip player_id='91150' first='Carson' last='Black'] is one of the top 2023 quarterbacks in the state and is committed to the University of Memphis.

Laurens vs. Fort Mill (6pm) – How will the new offense for Fort Mill look? Isaiah Haynes will be at quarterback accompanied by Jason Moran at wide receiver and the Piercy brothers. Laurens will have [player_tooltip player_id='202740' first='Gemire' last='Darden'], who will play both ways for the Raiders while James Rawl will handle things at quarterback and Davidson College commit Cayson Elledge will be Rawl's main target.

Providence vs. Blythewood (7pm) – For Blythewood, the biggest thing to watch will be who begins to emerge as the starting QB as it's a battle between Harrison Collins and David Herden. Whoever takes the reins should have a decent offensive line.

Clover vs. Providence Day (8pm) – [player_tooltip player_id='202766' first='Joe' last='Boyd'] returns at quarterback as he can sling it all over the yard. Look for Hunter Jaime to be his primary target. Cooper Zoehner and Omari Davis will anchor what should be a strong front seven for the Blue Eagles.

Clinton vs. York (9pm) – This should be a fun game to wrap up the night. For York, [player_tooltip player_id='208367' first='Ayden' last='Davis'] will play at quarterback and possibly defensive back, at least a little bit. Expect to see Javarus Gutherie playing at running back and some on defense. Clinton will bring their physical running game to York County on Friday night with Jishun Copeland and Bryson James, which should provide a good test for the front seven for the Cougars.
