Powdersville returned a ton of firepower, and they got it done in the passing game on Friday to start 1-0. Eli Hudgins threw for 210 yards and four touchdowns, with Drake Sloan accounting for 100 receiving yards and three scores.
Daniel QB Blaine Simmons got his tenure as the Lions’ signal-caller off to a roaring start. Naquelyn Alexander helped lead T.L. Hanna’s rushing attack, churning out 128 yards on eight carries, including a crucial 53-yarder that set up an early score.
