Maciejczak is a tackle and guard who can play anywhere on the line and uses his sheer size to pancake just about any defender. It is hard to find in any film where he struggles to block anyone that he faces up against. While he possesses massive size, he uses a great amount of mobility to his advantage, being able to be used in motion blocking to clear out defenders for his running back to get through. He plays the best it seems at a Left Tackle position to cover that blindside of his quarterback. Using his massive frame, he gives his QB so much time in the pocket to make the throws that he needs to make. If you want to shift him over to left tackle, he turns into an even better run blocker to take 2-3 defenders down just on his own.
Randall Powers – Avon HS, 5’11” 249lbs, Sophomore
Powers gives you not only the great interior and as well as outside blocking on the line as well. Powers having strong suits on inside and outside blocking means that he can switch from run blocking to pass blocking specialization on what the play demands. It would not surprise me this season if Powers did not give up a single sack, which is more impressive considering how he moves around the offensive line. While playing center, Powers allows his team to open up the run game and establish dominance on the ground. Yet, if they wanted to shift to an outside tackle, he could effectively neutralize the other team’s best defensive lineman and edge rushers. If you want to star a lineman to watch next year, this is the guy you want to star for his size and ability to shut down defenses with his blocking.
Delbert Peters – Crow Creek HS, 6’0″ 255lbs, Sophomore
Standing at 6′ and 255lbs, Peters, as just a sophomore is already primed to be one of the best OL/DL players in class 9B football. Peters can shift around anywhere on the line making his versatility another key strength to his game. While Peters does not have innate speed, he is his sheer dominance of play to overpower the offensive line to get into the backfield. Make sure you watch this Crow Creek stud while he breaks out on both sides of the ball. Peter is a pancake machine and can put defenders on the ground with what seems like relative ease. Peters is a little known player and he has the ability and potential to be an elite star in this upcoming season.
Griffen Schnider Griffen Schnider 6'0" | 235 lbs | OL Tea Area | 2023 State – Tea Area HS, 6’0″ 235lbs, Senior
Schnider is a versatile guard who provides the offensive line with great flexibility to run a wide array of plays. Schnider’s main area of expertise comes in pass blocking where in one on one coverage he does not allow the quarterback to be touched, and double coverage allows plenty of time in the pocket for a quarterback. The play design of motion using him as a guard to do drag blocks opens up the run game for big runs and huge gains. He can play both of the interior guard positions which allows him to focus on the other team’s best pass rusher and neutralize their defensive attack on the defensive line. Schnider is all around great lineman who can do just about anything that you need him to do.
