Benenge is an all-around elite linebacker in every sense of the position. Benenge is anywhere and everywhere on the field that he wants to be, it is just a matter of if you are in his way to get there. When Benenge is rushing the passer, good luck trying to stop him when he has a full head of steam and powering through anyone in his way. Benenge has swim moves combined with elite footwork to make easy work of anyone that tries to come in his way, When stopping the run as a linebacker Benenge is a top-of-the-line option that you would want in your box to stuff the run. In coverage, you get a mini ball hawk safety who can track down passes, knock them down and get an interception or two along the way. Benenge is a top-end talent in South Dakota and it is going to be exciting to see where he lands after his time is over at Harrisburg High School.
Gavin Ross Gavin Ross 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Harrisburg | 2023 State – Harrisburg, 5’9″ 205lbs, RB
Ross is a beast in the backfield that is every linebacker’s worst nightmare of tackling. Ross has the opposite of a one-dimensional game, incorporating many different running-back styles in his game. Ross by nature is a power back, meaning if he does not find a hole, he makes one for him to power through and get insane yards for his team. Ross has juke moves and footwork for a power back that is very uncanny for his talents, he eludes and breaks tackles with agility like few other running backs could dream of doing. He can catch passes and run out for big gains in the open field, making him a dual threat for his team. Ross is an elite running back with some elite talent to compliment his frame, where he goes, the team getting him will be happy to have his talents on the field.
Bennett Dannenbring Bennett Dannenbring 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB SF O'Gorman | 2023 State – O’Gorman, 6’3″ 200lbs, QB
Dannenbring is a gritty hardnosed quarterback with a great sense of pocket awareness and a rifle for an arm that he can use to make elite passes. Dannenbring is the ideal team quarterback who is not going to favor one player or the other but making sure that his team is winning. He can move around and use all the time that he needs in the pocket to make passes, and even elude the defense when he needs to. When Dannenbring is not the traditional idea of a mobile quarterback, he is something of a pocket deadeye in his work. Dannenbring can hit some deep throws to receivers but if he needs to make the smart check down, he will. Just because Dannenbring can make a big pass, does not mean he always will. He is a team player that will help whatever team he moves onto take their play to another level.
Jaxton Eck Jaxton Eck 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Brookings | 2023 State – Brookings, 6’0″ 210lbs, OLB
Eck is a pass rusher with some outlier abilities that you would not expect for his position. Eck is a power rusher and that is clear by his game, he can overpower just about anyone in his way. Eck is fast and nimble for a pass rusher, using his hands and feet to help his game, with his overwhelming strength. Eck is a versatile player who can adapt to any offensive scheme that is thrown at him. He is seldom bogged down by any way that the offense might try and stop him. Eck moreover has his IQ displayed on every play that he is on, making smart tackles and being an anchor for a defense that would not be the same without his talents. Whatever team Eck will go to, they will without a shadow of a doubt be getting a team player who has the talent to show why he is that guy.
