1. Skyridge Falcons
Skyridge showed why they’re our top team in the state with a dominant 52-7 win over Fremont. Both sides of the ball looked sharp as quarterback

accounted for five touchdowns in the lopsided victory.
2. Corner Canyon Charge
Speaking of dominance, that’s precisely what Corner Canyon was vs. Herriman as they notched a 45-7 victory. Quarterback Issac Wilson looked incredible as he threw six touchdown passes, with wide receiver Tate Kjar hauling in two of them and 206 receiving yards.
3. West Panthers
The Panthers looked sharp vs. Clearfield notching a 43-0 win. West’s defense was outstanding, and quarterback Isiah SueSue delivered three touchdown passes as the Panthers secured the week one victory.
4. American Fork Caveman
The Caveman are the fourth team in our rankings to win dominantly as they also secured a shoutout victory 48-0 over Roy. American Fork receiver Trey Robert led the way for the Caveman’s offense as he scored two touchdowns and finished with 127 receiving yards.
5. Lone Peak Knights
The Knights may have fallen in week one, but they ran into a buzzsaw in the Timpview Thunderbirds. Head Coach Bart Brockbank’s team will undoubtedly learn and bounce back from the disappointing 31-10 loss in which they were outmuscled.
6. Farmington Phoenix
The Phoenix narrowly squeezed out the victory over Pleasant Grove 19-14. Farmington scored 12 points in the opening period, a lead they would hold and nearly blow in the fourth. Running back Boston Reinhold scored two touchdowns and rushed for 120 yards to help the Phoenix notch their first victory.
7. Riverton Silverwolves
The Silverwolves stayed consistent all game long, scoring a touchdown in all four quarters allowing them to snag the narrow victory over the Titans. Head Coach Jody Morgan’s team, survived a tough week one test and if quarterback Jake Meyers and receiver Sam Woolley can build off their strong connection, Riverton could be in for a big year.
8. Bingham Miners
The Miners controlled the ground in their 42-14 win over Weber. Running backs Carson Sudbury and Havea Fotu combined for six touchdowns and 176 yards. At the same time, the Bingham defense returned an interception for a touchdown and never let the Warriors score more than seven points in a quarter.
9. Mountain Ridge
Mountain Ridge trailed by a touchdown entering the fourth, but two big late touchdowns from running back Semisi Kinikini helped them complete the comeback victory over Olympus. The Sentinels will look to start faster going forward, but if they can continue to step up late in games, they will be a tough out all season long.
10. Syracuse Titans
The Titans fell just two points short of victory as they lost to the Silverwolves 27-25. Syracuse will no doubt use this game as motivation to fuel a robust early season surge going forward.
