Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. There is still a lot yet to be determined with athletes still being so young. Expect a host of movement and additions in the coming months. Referenced here is the top 80 for the class of 2025 https://prepredzone.com/2022/08/updated-2025-oregon-rankings/

Most indviduals who were ranked previously will have *UPDATES* under their name.

26.[player_tooltip player_id='285850' first='Brayden' last='Boe'] 6-4 175 WR Mountainside- Boe is already garnering D1 offers in hoops and has that type of potential on the football field. You can't teach the size, genes (Dad D1 hooper), and overall athleticism.

UPDATE: It looks like he will pursue basketball but don't be surprised if he receives similar attention on the football field.

27.[player_tooltip player_id='286410' first='Drew' last='Baltz'] 6-3 180 WR West Linn- Baltz can play on either side of the ball and would start for a majority of the programs within Oregon as a Sophomore. That said as the Lions are loaded and he may have to wait his turn.

UPDATE: One of the fastest rising stocks of any player in the class. He's another athlete who will make it difficult to keep off the field.

28.[player_tooltip player_id='406757' first='Evan' last='Brenner'] 6-2 185 OLB Central Catholic- You will hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead. He has great size and can play on either side of the ball, projecting on D for a loaded Rams team.

29.[player_tooltip player_id='406767' first='Wyatt' last='Smiley'] 6-3 170 WR/DB West Linn- Get used to this kids name as Smiley should be a factor on both sides of the football, impressing with his overall athleticism (basketball). He possesses a unique combination of size and agility.

30.[player_tooltip player_id='406771' first='Enrike' last='Aguilar'] 6-2 240 DE North Salem- Aguilar has all the potential in the world. He was an underclass MVP at the PRZ event in Oregon a few months back, and should be an immediate factor for the Celts on D.

31.[player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] 6-1 170 ATH Tigard- This kid can play. The Tigers have always been a run-oriented team but will need to make sure and mix it up as he is one of the top two-way players in the state for his class. Laird's 4.1 GPA speaks to his versatility.

32.[player_tooltip player_id='285858' first='Rowan' last='Krahel'] 6-3 280 OL/DT Beaverton- Has next level potential. Great size. You can expect for him to play early on both sides of the football for a program where overall numbers have decreased substantially.

UPDATE: The Beavers are way down from a number's standpoint, but Krahel and 6-5 300-pound Tigard transfer David Hernandez give the team a shot up front, along with talented QB [player_tooltip player_id='205816' first='Hunter' last='Borter'].

33.[player_tooltip player_id='406763' first='Noah' last='Blair'] 6-1 170 QB Thurston- The Colts have produced some good one's over the years and Blair is a multi-sport talent with a big upside. Look for him to split time with talented 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='285885' first='Kyle' last='Miller'].

34.[player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley'] 5-10 160 WR Wilsonville-Another kid who made an impact early and projects as one of the best in Oregon at the 5A level. Crowley caught 19 passes for 217 yards and 2 TDs, also making 11 tackles defensively at the Varsity level. Look for him to be a featured athlete on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard.

UPDATE: One of the most versatile players in the state at the 5A level with the potential of being an all-state guy this season. He will combo nicely with senior [player_tooltip player_id='271347' first='Cooper' last='Hiday'] who is smooth.

35.[player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] 5-9 160 ATH West Linn- You will hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead. One of the top three-sport athletes in the Pacific NW. Could be the exception to the rule from a size standpoint, also excelling on the baseball field.

UPDATE: One of the most exciting athletes in the state when in space. Even with the team's depth expect the Lions to figure out a way to get him in the mix (Kick/Punt returns etc..)

36.[player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'] 6-1 170 WR Jesuit- One of the fastest kids in the Metro and maybe the state for his class. Expect him to be a primary target at WR from a young age and be a reason for the run-oriented team to air it out.

UPDATE: Everyone is aware of Valley's speed impressing in track as a freshman. The Crusaders possess the top line in the state and can always use burners on the perimeter.

37.[player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez'] 6-0 220 DT Lake Oswego- Undersized for the position but a real talent up front. Played some varsity ball as a freshman. The Lakers will continue to be a contender in the years ahead, with Lopez projected to be one of the state's top defensive athletes.

UPDATE: Look for Lopez to play early and be one of the better d linemen in the TRL this season. He's not your prototypical big man but super talented.

38.[player_tooltip player_id='274319' first='Luke' last='Baker'] 5-11 170 QB/ATH Central Catholic- One of the only freshmen to get time for the state champs this past season. He is expected to excel on the 7v7 circuit and be a featured athlete for one of the region's top programs.

UPDATE: It's rare for any freshman to win multiple state titles (football, track) as he projects as one of the top QBs in the state for his class. That said as he currently plays behind reigning Mt Hood POY [player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] who is only a junior.

39.[player_tooltip player_id='407440' first='Jyce' last='Jones'] 6-0 185 ATH Sheldon- One of the fastest kids in the state for his class and someone who can play multiple spots. It will probably be another year before he gets on the field consistently due to team depth. Anyone named [player_tooltip player_id='407440' first='Jyce' last='Jones'] will most likely do well.

40.[player_tooltip player_id='285889' first='Corbin' last='Davis'] 5-11 165 WR/WLB Putnam- Not a lot of people are aware of him playing for the Kingsmen. That said as he has been turning heads as part of EForce, looking super smooth in the process.

UPDATE: The Kingsmen seem to be heading in the right direction as they have a bunch of young talent coming up. Davis returns after earning 2nd team all-conference honors as a freshman.

41.[player_tooltip player_id='285882' first='Miles' last='Ott'] LB/ATH Tigard 6-1 185 LB/RB Tigard- Fast and physical multi-sport athlete, who also excels on the baseball field. Tigard should be back in title contention with some of these younger guys leading the way.

UPDATE: The Tigers have some of the best young talent in the state. Ott would start and be an all-conference kid this year for most teams. It's a wait and see as Tigard is deep.

42.[player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] 6-0 165 ATH Mountainside- Just an outstanding overall athlete. Can pretty much play any skill position on the field other than QB. The Mavericks have the numbers and talent to compete state wide.

UPDATE: One of the fastest rising programs in Oregon with #s. They have a legit line and could feature one of the state's top young athletes in Hicks this season.

43.[player_tooltip player_id='285886' first='JoJo' last='Harrower'] 6-3 180 QB Ashland- Starting Varsity QB as a freshman before injury. Has an ideal frame and a legit arm. Will need to work on mechanics and hopefully get some time in the pocket next year.

UPDATE: The Grizzlies went winless last year but that was not because of Harrower. They will need others to step up as he is one of the top young QBs in the state.

44.[player_tooltip player_id='407441' first='Kerek' last='Kato'] 5-11 165 ATH Sheldon- Very similar to senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='110216' first='Zach' last='McEwen'], who is one of the most dangerous players in the state when in space. Even with these abilities he will most likley have to wait a year due to team depth.

45.[player_tooltip player_id='406769' first='Kane' last='Sullivan'] 6-2 170 QB McMinnville- Sullivan looks legit. The Grizzlies have not been a state power over the years but have had a knack for producing some of Oregon's top QBs.

46.[player_tooltip player_id='238435' first='Treynor' last='Cleeland'] 6-0 170 QB Jesuit- Most are aware based on the last name. He has NFL genes with his brother [player_tooltip player_id='238432' first='Roice' last='Cleeland'] ranked the top center in Oregon. With continued growth Treynor has a high ceiling at the QB spot.

UPDATE: It will be interesting to see how the Crusaders use Cleeland with talented 2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='278372' first='Jacob' last='Hutchinson'] returning. A good problem to have if you are Jesuit, having two very talented young quarterbacks.

47.[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] 6-4 200 QB West Linn- The talent runs deep for the Lions, especially with some of the younger athletes coming up. That said as Gilroy has great size, overall athleticism, and smarts.

48.[player_tooltip player_id='407172' first='Jackson' last='Farris'] 6-2 225 DE Valley Catholic- Regardless of the level it's rare for any freshman to earn 1st team all-conference honors. Farris did just that and will be a leader for one of the best young head coaches in the state in Michael Snyder.

49.[player_tooltip player_id='406768' first='Ben' last='Schneider'] 6-0 175 QB Oregon City- The Pioneers possess some of the top young talent in the state and Schneider looks to be the dude who could be leading them at QB. He has done well from an off-season training standpoint.

50.Noah Scherer 6-1 205 LB South Salem- Look for this multi sport threat to start and be one of the best defensive players in the Central Valley this season. He is a talented baseball kid earning all conference honors as a freshman.
