Continue ReadingJackson has been one of the breakout star candidates for this Fall all off-season and did not disappoint in week one against a tough and well coached Elk Grove squad. Jackson erupted for 4 touchdowns and was running downhill and physical while bouncing off arm and ankle tackles and showing his third level speed and ability to hit the hole in a hurry and packed a punch at contact. Going into the rest of the season, Jackson will be one of the hardest running backs to stop and should see college interest start to pick up.
Green who picked up offers from Cal, Arizona, Portland State and Washington State had a very busy Spring and is a very big and physical intriguing athlete that can do tons of damage out of the backfield running and catching the ball. He is a smooth runner that has elite open field speed for his size while tough to bring down in the box and has under-rated twitch in the short area when making people miss. In the opening week of the season, Green broke free for 120 rushing yards on only 4 carries while tacking on another 4 touchdowns.
Baylor Kelly, Foothill HS ’25
Kelly rushed for over 200 yards only 15 touches and added another 3 touchdowns against a tough Casa Roble defense. He is a very elusive runner that runs hard for his size and will only continue to grow and develop as he is only a second year player. Running behind a very tough and physical offensive line, Kelly is in line for a monster Sophomore season for the Hillmen and will be one of the more explosive and versatile weapons the region has to offer.
