Ryken while not being the true master of one area of quarterback play, he can do just about everything at a high level with his style of play. Ryken can move around the pocket avoid rushers and make the smart passes that he needs to make. He moves around with agility and evasiveness that is similar to that of a running back but he can move around and get passes in some tight windows. Ryken has a great amount of offensive IQ that makes his style of play greatly helpful to his offense and benefits his team by knowing how to get the most yards. He can rush for yards when you need him to, while not the fastest quarterback, he can break away from yards and break tackles as needed. Ryken is an all-around complete QB, he does not have a true weakness in his game and it will be exciting to see what he will bring to the table this year with his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='101184' first='Ryan' last='Krog'] - Elkton, 6'1" 185lbs, Senior

Krog is the textbook definition of an elite dual-threat quarterback who can dominate you on both offensive sides of the ball. Krog as a passer can hit quick throws and make some great passes in just about any way that you can. With his rifle of an arm, he can make some deep throws and is not prone to turning over the ball at all. He makes the connection and builds a relationship with the players on offense so while their talent posses are there, he has chemistry with his players that only helps their ability to play on the field. As a rusher, he can find and make holes on the defense, making a big rush for huge gains of yardage so that he can set up his team for the best possible scenario you can be in. Krog can score just about anywhere on the field, whether that is passing or rushing, he is a threat to anyone that tries to stop on the defense. Krog has the talents and skills to be an elite quarterback at the college level with eh evolving style of play, with the tools and skills that he is, I can only see a bright future with what he has to offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='160908' first='CJ' last='Smith'] - Dell Rapids Saint Mary's Catholic, 6'0" 165lbs, Senior

Smith is a pocket genie with the work that he seems to do with how well he can work around the defense. He is a hard player to tackle, edge rushers have little luck in trying to tackle him since he can shake them off with ease. He can move around and he has a great awareness of his relative area that is around him in the pocket. He can extend plays and make broken plays that look like sacks turn into gains of over 25 yards. He works well with his offensive line and running back to help them make adjustments and give them call outs on where to block when they are needed. He has great communication with his team and can clearly and effectively know what is going on with his offense. He can work with his receivers and tailbacks to make sure everyone in the offense is not left out of anything. Smith is an unselfish player who makes the right reads and works his tail off to make sure he is the leader that his team needs him to be.

[player_tooltip player_id='273691' first='Jaden' last='Guthmiller'] Spearfish, 5'10, 165lbs, Senior

Guthmiller is an interesting case of a quarterback, mainly have his game be centered around his ability as a game manager. He can manage how and where he needs to everyone to be and is a floor raiser for his team as a whole. He can make anyone his team better for his offensive centric mind and his overall ability to figure what the defense is going to do any given moment. Guthmiller is not scared to do what ever it takes to help his team win, no matter if that mean he has to throw 3 passes a game or throw 50, he will do what needs to make sure that his team gets the W at the end of the day. Guthmiller has a big arm on him too, not scared to big throws down field and link up with his receivers. Under Pressure, Guthmiller does not blink and has killer instinct that you would want in your quarterback. No matter who the lights are on, on any given day, you can expect Guthmiller to go out there and give you his all.
