(OLB/SS 2023) - Emmanuel had a great off season and it has showed this season. He is very big, fast, and physical. On Friday he made a good amount of great plays and nice tackles. He brings his hips well through the ball carriers. He triggers downhill quickly with great leverage. Transitions well back to the pass and has the ability to stay really tight on the receivers. He is quick off the snap and gets locked out with ease. He maintains good leverage in his gaps and plays on the other side of the LOS. He is strong and sheds blockers easily. On defense can play FS/CB and is very athletic and had advanced technique. Triggers downhill fast and makes good one on one tackles. He is patient in his read steps and plays the play well once it declares. He caps the defense and stays deeper than the deepest well. He is 6'0 175 and plays beyond his years. He has good technique and reads plays well. He transitions well from run to pass and stays in phase. Can play man coverage and lock down receivers. He is good in space and plays zone coverage without too much cushion.
