Here's a look at 5 players in the 2023 class that I think could blow up the state this fall:

[player_tooltip player_id='87422' first='Kyler' last='Ronquillo'], ATH, Yelm

Ronquillo is a flat out impressive overall athlete with the ability to be a threat anywhere he lines up and anytime he touches the ball. Loose hips with good twitch and burst frequently helps him set up and generate that explosiveness within his routes. Great ball skills all around with solid body control with the ability to extend past his frame in the air to make difficult plays. Really good range and instincts in the back half to estabish himself as a legit ball hawk. Good football IQ all around and is a very impressive and well polished player. He recently committed to Portland State over a PWO from Oregon on July 20th.

[player_tooltip player_id='87410' first='Isaiah' last='Carlson'], ATH, Ferndale

Carlson is a very physical player with the ability to be that difference maker on both sides of the ball. At RB, he possesses good balance after contact and will run through arm tackles, frequently springing himself free into open space. He flashes solid COD as a ball carrier and has that 2nd level speed to finish big runs. At LB, he plays well in space and does a great job with play rec and possesses good closing speed. I really like his explosiveness and technique through the tackle to frequently finish the play. Smart, agile, and physical player with big potneital moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='202533' first='River' last='Lien'], QB, Glacier Peak

Lien sizes up with a strong frame and build at 6'1" 205lbs. Hardworking kid that has seemed to take strides this offseason, especially in the weight room by throwing up a 455lb squat. He's a smooth all around athlete with playmaker ability with both his arm and his legs, and can shape into one of the most exciting QB's to watch this fall. He picked up his first offer from Linfield back in June, which definitely shouldn't be his last as I beieve he has all the potential in the world this season to blow up and rise his stock given his athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='87419' first='Jace' last='Villers'], WR, Auburn-Riverside

Villers possesses a college ready frame at 6'3" 185lbs and holds an offer from Portland State. He's definitely worthy of that FCS attention he's been getting, and will have a big opportinuty to turn that attention into offers this fall. Villers has really good length within that frame of his and possesses a large catch radius with the ability to extend past his frame and make those difficult grabs.

[player_tooltip player_id='333664' first='Maki' last='Piper'], LB, Highline

Piper holds offers from UNLV and Nevada heading into his senior year, but is a kid that every Mountain West program should take a look into at the very least. Excellent size and build at 6'2" 215lbs with tremendous play strength and strength at the POA. Good range with lateral mobility to make plays along the boundary, and possesses a vicious striking ability when he can get squared up. Piper holds loads of potential to become one of the most feared defensive players in the state and should see that offer list dramatically grow when it's all said and done.
