Grimsley's offensive unit quickly displayed its dominance throughout the game. The players listed had standout performances that caught my attention during the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Clayton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421104' first='Hugh' last='Collins'], QB, 6'1" 215 (No. 33 QB, No. 336 Overall)</strong>. Hugh displayed poise while under pressure throughout the game directing the offense. He displayed good velocity on his passes and accuracy on the short-range passes. Several of his medium range passes were on target but dropped by receivers. Hugh will continue to improve as he gains game experience.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='379378' first='Nadir' last='Simmons'], RB, 6'0" 215 (No. 31 RB, No. 216 Overall)</strong>. Nadir displayed good vision and toughness while running inside for tough yardage against a stiff defense. He displayed speed and the ability to accelerate past defenders while running in the open field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421105' first='Dazmin' last='James'], WR, 6'2" 190 (No. 38 WR, No. 274 Overall)</strong>. Dazmin ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed speed as he accelerated past defenders in the open but dropped several balls that were in his hands. Dazmin did display good hands on a catch as he ran into the endzone for a TD. He has the size and speed to make an impact on offense when his catch ratio improves. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Zach Klingenback, OL, 6'5" 275 (No. 39 OL, No. 269 Overall)</strong>. Zach displayed good technique and footwork to make contact with defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He used his size and upper body strength to protect the quarterback on the passing plays. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='338916' first='Trei' last='Rivers'], OL, 6'3" 290 (No. 14 OL, No. 110 Overall)</strong>. Trei displayed good footwork and upper body strength to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He did a good job of protecting the quarterback on the passing plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='144941' first='Will' last='Coats'], OL, 6'3" 290 (No. 11 OL, No. 92 Overall)</strong>. Will displayed good technique and footwork to quickly make contact with defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He accepted the challenge and held his own against the Georgia-commit defensive tackle throughout the game. It was a tug-of-war between two talented offensive and defensive linemen.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='293262' first='Aaron' last='Foster'], RB, 5'10" 215 (No. 23 LB, No. 240 Overall)</strong>. Aaron plays on both sides of the ball. He returned kickoffs and was able to gain some positive yards on a few of his returns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Grimsley</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421106' first='Ryan' last='Stephens'], QB, 6'0" 170 (No. 35 QB, No. 339 Overall)</strong>. Ryan displayed leadership and poise as he directed the offensive unit throughout the game. He displayed good arm strength and accuracy on his short and medium range passes. His long ball passes were on target in the end zone for scores. He tucked it and ran it in for a score during one offensive series. Ryan did a good job of mixing up passing and running plays throughout the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421109' first='Mitchell' last='Summers'], RB, 5'6" 150 (No. 10 RB, Watchlist)</strong>. Mitchell displayed good vision and balance while looking for an opening to accelerate past defenders for yardage. He displayed the speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field down the sidelines into the end zone on one series. Mitchell is a talented young running back who will be a key player in the running game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='190663' first='Terrell' last='Anderson'], WR, 6'3" 195 (No. 7 WR, No. 15 Overall)</strong>. Terrell ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He used his body to shield defenders and good hands on the catches made in traffic. Terrell was difficult to defend in man-coverage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='280033' first='Alex' last='Taylor'], WR, 6'2" 180 (No. 3 WR, No. 5 Overall)</strong>. Alex ran very good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed speed to accelerate past defenders while running in the open field. Alex's athleticism was display on the one-handed catch in the end zone. He was difficult to defend in man-coverage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421107' first='Jaden' last='Staton'], OL, 6'0" 275 (No. 58 OL, No. 352 Overall)</strong>. Jaden displayed good technique and footwork to make contact with defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He was quick out of his stance and maintained balance while blocking on the passing plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='349749' first='Jamarius' last='Matier'], OL, 6'0" 280 (No. 16 OL, No. 115 Overall)</strong>. Jamarius displayed good technique and footwork to make contact with defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He used upper body strength as leverage to control defenders on the passing plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='421108' first='Jackson' last='Lee'], OL, 6'0" 200 (No. 59 OL, No. 353 Overall)</strong>. Jackson displayed good technique and footwork to make contact with defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed technique and quickness to control defenders on the passing plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grimsley's offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage throughout the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
