3. Springville Red Devils
It was close at the half, but the Red Devils pulled away in the second for a 45-17 win over Skyline. Running back Tevita Valeti scored four total touchdowns to help Springville move to 2-0.
4. Park City Miners
The Miners looked strong against Maple Mountain, snagging a 26-7 win in a complete performance. Running Back Brayden Beyer scored two touchdowns as Park City continues its strong start to the season.
5. Orem Tigers
Orem once again needed a fourth-quarter comeback to get a win, but good times always find a way, and the Tigers did just that. Quarterback Lance Reynolds and tight end Rodger Saleapaga combined to score all three Tiger’s touchdowns in their 21-14 win.
6. Stansbury Stallions
The Stallions carried over their offensive momentum from week one to score over 40 points again in their victory over Ridgeline. Receiver Dylan Hamilton and athlete

7. Viewmont Vikings
The Vikings moved to 2-0 after scoring a school record 73 points vs. Hillcrest. They have held both of their first two opponents under 17 points and look poised for a big year.
8. Skyline Eagles
Skyline entered the half tied at 17 with Springville but couldn’t carry that momentum into the second half. The Red Devils are among the best teams in 5A, so Skyline should be fine moving forward with lots to be encouraged about and learn from this game.
9. Brighton Bengals
After being upset in week one, Brighton righted the ship and got a massive win over Syracuse. The Bengal’s defense limited the Titans to 17 points, and Quarterback

10. East Leopards
Yes, they’re 0-2, but they played well vs. Orem and nearly won the game. They may not have scored vs. Skyridge but how many teams in the state could? This team will be fine and could get back in the top five by the season’s end.
