St. John Bosco class of 2023 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="145205" first="Sua" last="Lefotu"] announced his commitment to Washington last week.
Lefotu had strong showings at the Giant Skillz National Showcase and the Under Armour Next All-America camp. He has impressive quickness for a 305 pound lineman and did well in the 1on1 periods.
He chose Washington over six other schools that offered him including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Michigan State among others. He is the tenth player from California in Washington’s 2023 recruiting class and the third defensive lineman in the class.

De La Salle (Concord) offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="169765" first="Derek" last="Thompson"] announced his commitment to Harvard last week.
Thompson is 6-foot-2, around 280 pounds and is the No. 17 ranked offensive lineman in the class according to the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/california/rankings/2023-rankings/">Prep Redzone rankings</a>.
He had offers from bigger schools like Colorado State, Idaho and Nevada and also was offered by multiple other Ivy League schools. He is the second player from California in Harvard’s 2023 recruiting class, joining <strong>John Chung</strong> of Sacred Heart Prep.

Bonita Vista (Chula Vista) receiver [player_tooltip player_id="250005" first="Dante" last="Scott"] announced his commitment to Colorado State last week.
He caught 23 passes for 581 yards and 10 touchdowns for Bonita Vista last season.
Scott was named the receivers MVP at the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2022/01/ca-prep-redzone-showcase-mvps/">Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase</a> in January. He ran a 4.56 40 and showed good top end speed on deep routes. He is a big guy at 6-foot-2 and nearly 200 pounds and uses his body well to catch 50/50 balls.
He had 10 other offers including Army, Hawaii, Penn and UNLV among others. He is the third player from California in Colorado State’s 2023 recruiting class and the second receiver, joining <strong>Lavon Brown</strong> of Sierra Canyon.

Salinas receiver <span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="261745" first="Nyziah" last="Hunter"] announced his commitment to Cal last Thursday. </span>
Hunter was one of the top receivers on a Salinas team that went 8-1 last season. He is 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and one of the top receiver prospects in Northern California.
He also had offers from Colorado State, Boise State, BYU and Washington among others. He is the fourth player from California in Cal’s 2023 recruiting class and the first receiver.

Amador Valley edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id="190337" first="Brady" last="Nassar"] announced his commitment to Colorado last Thursday.
He is lengthy at 6-foot-5 and around 240 pounds. He has an older brother who is a student at Colorado.
California, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State offered him as well as many others. Nassar told 247Sports that he is firm in his commitment. He is the fourth player from California in Colorado’s 2023 recruiting class and the third defensive lineman joining <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="261721" first="Carson" last="Mott"]</strong> of Simi Valley.
