The offensive line is expected to control the line of scrimmage.
[player_tooltip player_id="379196" first="Jacoby" last="Martin"] (6'1" 210, DL) displayed quickness coming out of his stance to make contact with blockers while moving past them for stops. He is expected to anchor the defensive line along with [player_tooltip player_id="379203" first="Zakeius" last="Martin"] (6'0" 200, DL). He finished last season with 73 total tackles, 1 tackle was for a loss. Emerson is expected to lead the defensive secondary unit. [player_tooltip player_id="379192" first="Messiah" last="Shaw"] (5'10" 165, DB) is a technique-sound defensive back who covers receivers well, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. Richmond Sr. High is expected to defend the conference crown and advance into the state playoffs.
