Scouting Report
One of the most underrated passers in the state despite coming off a very efficient 2021 season. Threw for nearly 2000 yards last season while taking care of the ball as he threw just 2 INTs against 18 TDs. A pocket-passing QB shows some creativity and light-footedness in the pocket. Feet can get jittery at times but does a great job of collecting himself and setting his feet before he throws the ball downfield. Even while evading pressure, he does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield, keeping two hands on the ball, and climbing the pocket instead of bailing to the sidelines. As a passer, doesn’t show a whole lot of arm strength, but he has pinpoint accuracy and can attack all levels of the field. His best ball might be his deep ball, where he hits his receivers in stride and throws the ball to where only they can catch it. Can throw on the run as well without sacrificing a whole lot of accuracy and velocity. Watkins has some D1 interests and some small school offers, but he has the chance to really improve his stock with a huge senior season.
Player Comparison
Cardale Jones – Former Ohio State QB
Jones is a much bigger QB prospect, but the similarities in mechanics and playstyle are definitely there. A smooth, over-the-top release is what really draws this comparison.
Justin Johnson Justin Johnson 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Central Gwinnett | 2023 State GA
High School: Archer
Height/Weight: ~5’11 175~
Offers: Army

Scouting Report
A “run-first” QB that has a knack for making the big play. The passing numbers don’t look great, but he will be surrounded by a good supporting cast at Archer and play in a more QB-friendly offense. Just by comparing his film from this spring to last season, he looks more confident and more polished as a passer. Has some decent arm strength with a quick release which allows him to put the ball into tight windows, but I personally like his ability to connect with his receivers on the deep ball. Excels as a runner, as he has rare speed for the QB position and can make defenders miss. That mobility also translates to the passing game where he is great at throwing on the run. Consistency as a passer is where Johnson needs to grow, but he shows the ability to go through all of his progressions and make throws to all levels of the field. If he can put up numbers more similar to his sophomore season, then he will continue to receive D1 buzz as a QB.
Player Comparison
Dematrius Davis – Alabama State
Johnson draws a lot of comparisons to former Auburn QB Dematrius Davis, who should be an impact player for Alabama State over the next few years. Not only are they similar in size, but both have the unique ability to run the football.
Lucian Anderson III Lucian Anderson III 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Clarke Central | 2023 State GA
High School: Clarke Central
Height/Weight: ~6’3 190~
Offers: UAB, Troy, Harvard, Mercer, Yale, Holy Cross, and others.

Scouting Report
Bonafide D1 football prospect that has his best football ahead of him. Threw for nearly 1000 yards last year with a lower completion percentage, but did a good job of protecting the football. A dual threat QB that can certainly do damage with his legs, even though he is always keeping his eyes downfield and looking to throw. Runs the option game extremely well and can make defenders miss with his legs. Has a long and slower release, but the ball comes out of hand as a tight spiral with plenty of velocity. This allows him to put the ball into tight windows and attack areas on the field that are harder to reach. On his deep ball, he puts plenty of air under the ball and allows his receivers to run under it and catch it, which shows plenty of trust in his playmakers. One area of his game that is really impressive to me is his ability to throw across the field. Oftentimes, throwing across the field is dangerous and can put the ball in harm’s way, but Anderson does a great job of making sure his receivers are open before he decides to make that throw. Not only is Anderson a gifted athlete, but he also has the ability to find open receivers all over the field and has the arm talent to get the ball to them. Anderson has plenty of FBS opportunities, and a big senior season could draw attention from PO5 schools.
Player Comparison
Jacurri Brown – Miami
Anderson reminds me a lot of former Lowndes standout Jacurri Brown. Brown is significantly larger, but both are great runners and have a similar long release. Anderson has room to fill out and become a bigger prospect.
Dylan Wittke Dylan Wittke 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Buford | 2023 State GA
High School: Buford
Height/Weight: ~6’2 185~
Offers: Virginia Tech (committed), Colorado, East Carolina, FIU, SMU, and others.

Scouting Report
Even without ever starting a game at the varsity level, Wittke has solidified himself as a bonafide FBS prospect. In fact, he is already committed to play QB at Virginia Tech. For the last few seasons, Wittke has played a backup role to Stanford QB signee Ashton Daniels for the last few seasons, and Wittke is now set to take the reigns at the QB spot. When you turn on the tape, you notice the versatility that Wittke possesses. He can line up under center and be just as comfortable as he is in the shotgun. He also runs the option game very well and is a willing runner. He doesn’t have great speed, but he has RB-like vision and is not afraid to lower his shoulder and fight for extra yards. As a passer, he shows great footwork in the pocket and always throws off a solid base. When under duress, he does a good job of staying controlled in the pocket and keeping his eyes downfield. As a passer, he has a quick release and is an accurate passer down the field. He has a great deep ball and can make all the touch throws, which is due to his fundamentals in the pocket and his smooth release. For a player that doesn’t have a lot of varsity experience, Wittke is a great decision maker and is wise beyond his years. Look for Buford to make another state title run with Wittke at the helm.
Player Comparison
Matt Corral – Carolina Panthers
It is hard to not see the similarities between Wittke and Corral. Both have a beautiful deep ball and are excellent runners. In fact, Wittke and Corrall almost look identical when they run the football.
