It's a rare thing for a High School to even get playing time at the varsity level. In order to beat out all the Juniors and Seniors to lead the offense, you've got to have undeniable talent. These young guns will be leading New Jersey offensses and be big in the recruiting scene for year to come. [player_tooltip player_id="366482" first="AJ" last="Surace"], Notre Dame AJ completes passes that most High School quarterbacks wouldn't even attempt. He has great velocity on his passes, allowing him to throw into small windows over the middle and down the seam. AJ has touch as well, dropping throws in a bucket for impressive over the shoulder completions. His ball placement, though, is special. Getting the ball high to his receivers and leading them for yards after the catch creates lots of big plays as shown by his 14+ yards for completion and 22 touchdowns last season. Surace's size and production have already garnered him Power 5 offers from Boston College, Rutgers, Indiana, Pitt and Tennessee. https://www.hudl.com/profile/14820600/AJ-Surace/about [player_tooltip player_id="172835" first="Chris" last="Dietrich"], Pope John XXIII At 6'3, 210 pounds in his sophomore season, Chris has elite size with room to grow and a skill set that is already advanced. His film displays skills like a shoulder fake to hold the safety or freeze a corner on the stop and go. He has excellent deep ball accuracy, allowing him to challenge all parts of the field and give defenses fits. Expect to see big things from him in his Junior year. https://www.hudl.com/profile/14264850/Chris-Dietrich [player_tooltip player_id="378673" first="Maurice" last="Williams"], Orange HS Maurice is an exceptionally athletic for the position and already being 6'0, 190, he could be an elite prospect for multiple positions. His film is full of eye popping plays, escaping the rush to complete passes or juke people out of their shoes for impressive runs. Maurice is decisive with the ball with a quick release, allowing for good timing throws over the middle and has nice touch on his deep ball. He finished his sophomore season with over 1200 yards passing, completing 67% of his throws and 350 yards rushing for 16 total touchdowns. His junior year should be very exciting. https://www.hudl.com/profile/14145919/maurice-williams [player_tooltip player_id="172834" first="Aleks" last="Sitkowski"], Piscataway Aleks has elite size for a sophomore QB, listed at 6'3 and 210 pounds and moves well outside the pocket. He gets the ball out quickly and has nice zip on his short to intermediate throws. There's a lot of maturity in his game at a young age. He has good command of the offense, going through his progressions and letting his route combinations develop. Plus, you know your QB has some toughness to him when he also takes snaps at Defensive end! [player_tooltip player_id="220046" first="Robbie" last="Carcich"], Westwood Robbie is a three sport athlete that displays a lot of agility in his quarterback play. He moves well within and out of the pocket and is accurate to both sides of the field on the scramble. The Westwood offense runs a fair bit of 4 and 5 wide formations, so with his running ability, takes advantage of all that open field to the tune of 800 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground. He as a nice arm and shows great accuracy on his deep balls, hitting his receivers in stride for extra yards. When I say accurate, I mean exceptionally so. He completed 75% of his passes throwing 15 TD's and with just 3 picks. 24 total TDs as a sophomore is getting it done. https://www.hudl.com/profile/14652421/Robbie-Carcich/highlights
