In the 2024 recruiting cycle, there is no deeper position group in Pennsylvania than the defensive back position. Out of our top-10 defensive backs in the class of 2024, all 10 are ranked in the top 60 players overall and 14 are ranked in the top 100.

Overall, it's a fantastic group of athletes in the 2024 class with quite a bit of high upside talent. Let's take a look at each of our top 10 prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='98507' first='Omillio' last='Agard'] (St. Joes Prep)

Player Snapshot: Agard is one of the top defensive back prospects in the entire country and has great size and length. He shows the ability to perform both in man-to-man and zone coverages and is a consistent playmaker. He's an incredible special talent who has the chance to be an immediate impact corner at the next level.

Recruitment: Agard owns offers from nearly every top program in the country.

Kenny Woseley Jr. (Imhotep Charter)

Player Snapshot: Woseley has good size, length, and athleticism. He's elite in coverage and shows great ball skills. He will need to continue to add weight to his frame but the foundation is there for Wolseley to be a special corner at the next level.

Recruitment: Another national-level recruit, Wolseley owns offers from programs such as Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, and Penn State among others.

[player_tooltip player_id='377035' first='Kahmir' last='Prescott'] (Northeast Philadelphia)

Player Snapshot: Prescott projects to safety at the next level and is a bonafide Power Five prospect. I love his length and there's plenty of more room for him to grow as well which means the length should only continue to get better. He does a great job at play recognition and has the athleticism to keep himself in every play. Good ball skills as well.

Recruitment: Boston College, Penn State, and Pittsburgh are his early offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='141985' first='Khari' last='Reid'] (Neumann & Goretti)

Player Snapshot: Another bonafide Power Five prospect, there's a lot to like about Reid. He shows versatility in where he's able to line up and has good athleticism and fluid hips, showing the ability to stay with opposing receivers. Will need to continue to develop and add size but good foundation overall.

Recruitment: Boston College, Bowling Green, Maryland, Ole Miss, Penn State, and West Virginia are his offers so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='164519' first='Mikey' last='Preston'] (Roman Catholic)

Player Snapshot: Quality safety prospect with solid size and length. Shows good coverage skills with the ability to quickly change direction. Fluid hips and good athleticism. Play recognition is solid as well.

Recruitment: Boston College, Penn State, and West Virginia have offered.

[player_tooltip player_id='127244' first='Jaire' last='Rawlison'] (Bishop McDevitt)

Player Snapshot: Bishop McDevitt has a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball but they have quite a bit on the defensive side of the ball including Rawlison. Rawlison was a productive shutdown corner for McDevitt thanks to great athleticism and coverage/ball skills.

Recruitment: Rawlison holds no offers so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='97973' first='Brandon' last='Banks'] (Aliquippa)

Player Snapshot: Big part of Aliquippa's title-winning defense. Banks is good in coverage and shows good ball skills. Good athleticism and straight-line speed makes him dangerous on any interception.

Recruitment: Holds several FBS offers from Group of Five programs including Akron, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Kent State, Ohio, UMass, and Toledo.

[player_tooltip player_id='142785' first='Vernon' last='Settles'] (Pittsburgh Central Catholic)

Settles shows upside on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball thanks to great athleticism and speed. He shows good ball skills including the ability to track the ball and is able to recognize plays fast. A lot to like about him with his foundation at the position but also his athletic upside.

Recruitment: He holds one offer from Akron.

[player_tooltip player_id='142826' first='Davon' last='Willie'] (St. Joes Prep)

The biggest knock on Willie currently is his size, he'll need a bit of size as he continues to develop but beyond there's quite a bit to like. Willie plays much bigger than his size that's for sure thanks to great athleticism. Good coverage skills and shows the ability to track the ball in the air extremely well.

Recruitment: Willie currently does not hold any offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='255740' first='Shamir' last='Johnson'] (St. Joes Prep)

Think Johnson is a player that could rise in the rankings with a big junior season. He has quality size and length and shows and is solid in coverage. Plays the ball extremely well and is capable of winning 50-50 balls at a consistent rate. Quality athleticism as well.

Recruitment: It does not appear Johnson currently holds any offers.
