The prospects featured in this article, I believe, are being undervalued from a recruiting perspective. Each kid has flashed a different type of skill set, but all have one thing in common: they’ve produced at the varsity level.
These prospects range from having an FBS offer or two all the way to recruits who have yet to receive a single scholarship at any level. Regardless of whether they have an offer or not, each one of these guys, I believe, should be getting more attention on the recruiting trail. Their projected level may vary from person to person, but each one has talent that I believe deserves to be seen. With that being said, here’s who you need to know!
QB: Blaze Berlowitz, 6’3″ 200, Cushing, OK
- Twitchy release.
- A master improviser when the pocket breaks down.
- Plenty of arm talent to throw off awkward platforms.
- Has the wiggle of a running back.
WR: Cameron Dunn, 5’9″ 170, Frederick Douglass, KY
- Easily separates at the top of his route.
- Has the jets to split two defenders in traffic.
- Nasty stop and start ability.
WR: Kashton Henjum, 6’2″ 185, Newport Harbor, CA
- Ridiculous production in 2021, accounting for 1,551 yards receiving on 108 catches.
- Subtle yet filthy route runner.
- Outstanding body control to make tough catches on poorly thrown balls.
WR: KJ Miller, 5’10″ 165, Greene County, MS
- Blazing speed and acceleration.
- Effortless deep ball tracker downfield.
- Vision to cut back against the grain at any moment.
RB: Jesse Greenly, 5’11″ 215, Atchison, KS
- A workhorse who can handle a high volume of carries.
- Insane contact balance.
- Loose hips for easy change of direction.
DE: Sinn Brennan, 6’3″ 235, Los Alamitos, CA
- A well-tuned bull rusher who will put tackles on skates.
- Has the frame to put on another 30-40 pounds.
- Impressive hip fluidity.
- A sporty prospect who could have a future as a five or three-technique.
LB: Ryan Earl, 6’3″ 220, Trinity Christian School, GA
- Phenomenal instincts paired with noticeable burst.
- Prototypical size for an inside linebacker.
- A calm scraper that takes great angles to the football.
LB: Brady Nowlan, 6’2″ 215, Nature Coast Tech, FL
- A true sideline-to-sideline runner for four quarters.
- Has the body control to shut down cutback attempts.
- A forceful block shedder.
- Practically lives in the opponent’s backfield.
WR: Dorian Smith, 5’9″ 165, Faith Academy, AL
- A jitterbug that is a nightmare to bring down in space.
- Dynamite return man.
- Off-the-charts field awareness with the football.
- Capable of playing on the inside or outside.
