Lansing Area Dream Team: Offense

I thought it would be fun to make an All-Lansing team. Putting together the top players at each position, with all schools in the Lansing area being in consideration. Here is the Lansing area dream team for offense. QB: [player_tooltip player_id="243467" first="Seneca" last="Moore"] | Holt | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12974711/6181a2cdf31c94044cef713b">Hudl</a>  Moore played very well for Holt last year. He has a strong arm and is a very good athlete. Moore is a guy whose play definitely elevates his team overall. You have to believe Holt will have a chance to win in every game next year with [player_tooltip player_id=’243467’ first=’Seneca’ last=’Moore’] at quarterback.   RB: [player_tooltip player_id=’254032’ first=’AJ’ last=’Martel’] | Mason | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2H8VaV">Hudl</a>   Martel has good long speed and has the capability to break long runs for touchdowns. He is a physical runner who does not go down easily. He had a very productive season and played a big factor in the Mason football team making it to the state semi-finals.   WR: [player_tooltip player_id=’178996’ first=’Evan’ last=’Boyd’] | East Lansing | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GBMMR">Hudl</a>   Boyd has an ideal size at 6-3, 190 lbs. He is a good route runner and does a good job of getting open. Boyd is great after the catch and can accelerate upfield for big play touchdowns. Boyd is one of many talented players returning to the East Lansing football team in 2022.   WR: [player_tooltip player_id=’249762’ first=’Evan’ last=’Walker’] | Lansing Waverly | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GF2e3">Hudl</a>   Walker is a tremendous deep threat at the receiver position. Defensive backs really need to be alert when pressing him. Walker has shown the ability to blow by cornerbacks. He does a good job of hauling in contested catches as well. I like his game a lot and look forward to seeing him make more big plays this upcoming season.   OL: [player_tooltip player_id=’323538’ first=’Matthew’ last=’Nehf’] | DeWitt | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GXbJS">Hudl</a>   Nehf will fire off the ball quickly. He is a great athlete and does a great job of pulling and getting in a good position to block. He plays with very good leverage and holds his ground well. I love how he will get downfield and block until the whistle is blown. Nehf was a major factor in the success that the DeWitt football team had last year. Nehf and the team will look to continue that success once again in 2022.   OL: [player_tooltip player_id=’30335’ first=’Hayden’ last=’Healey’] | East Lansing | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GKP96">Hudl</a>   Healey has very good size at 6-3, 295 lbs. He has good overall strength and can block defenders with ease even if they get a step in front of him. He has good footwork and gets into pass protection set quickly. I like that he will finish blocks and take defenders down.   ATH: [player_tooltip player_id=’241259’ first=’Bryce’ last=’Kurncz’] | DeWitt | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GB3TZ">Hudl</a>   Kurncz had an outstanding year last season. He does a great job in coverage at the cornerback position. His athleticism allows him to match up with any receiver he covers. Kurncz is a great receiver as well and can get open on deep balls. Kurncz will come down with interceptions for his team as well. I’m excited to watch him play this year and have a feeling that he will make a ton of plays. opposing teams will need to be aware of where Kurncz is on the field.
