Well, you came to the right place, my friend, because we have them right here. Today’s piece centers around nine 2024 defensive backs in the state of Ohio that could see their stock rise with a productive 2022 season. The potential of these prospects was evident on their 2021 tape; now, it’s just a matter of seeing if they can take that proverbial next step this fall. With that being said, here’s who to watch for this fall!

- Filthy range.
Cole Horvath, 6′ 175, Hilliard Darby
- Knows how to bait quarterbacks into poor throws.
- A well-trained cover two safety than can cover a ton of ground to defend against vertical hole shots.
- Burst and wiggle gives blockers serious trouble.
Jaontay O’Bryant, 6′ 155, Mansfield Senior
- Superb instincts breaking on the quarterback.
- Has a steady forward lean, making his breaks quite fluid.
- Has a natural feel for opposing route concepts.
- A big-time playmaker.
Cam Boone, 6′ 175, St. Edward
- Lax hips working out of a pedal or shuffle.
- Breaks through the target in man coverage.
- Long arms help to swat away potential jump balls.
- Looks to give help if there’s no immediate threat in his zone.
Israel Bradford, 5’10” 160, Walnut Hills
- Plays loose with a ton of confidence.
- Quick feet to go with solid anticipation.
- A natural working a press coverage jam.
