Oregon's 2024 rankings were just updated and released as referenced here https://prepredzone.com/2022/07/icymi-2024-rankings-were-posted-this-week-45/. Have a look as we continue to break down the Top 100 (#26-50)

.[player_tooltip player_id='278385' first='Nick' last='Sakys'] 6-2 205 QB West Linn-Sakys jumped almost 10 spots after hitting on 68% of his passes (32/47) with 5 TDs, in limited time as a sophomore. Even with Leavitt transferring in he should be considered one of the top QBs in Oregon.

.[player_tooltip player_id='279169' first='Dexter' last='Foster'] 6-3 200 OLB Roosvelt- Head coach Ryan McCants has been a blessing to the Roughriders program. Foster earned 1st team all-league honors as a sophomore, as he has a tremendous upside with great size.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278370' first='Mitch' last='Mahlum'] 6-3 215 OLB Liberty- The son of former NFL vet and head coach Eric Mahlum. There are still a lot of question marks but his upside is through the roof, earning honorable mention all-Pacific honors in 2021'.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278444' first='Andy' last='Soles'] 6-2 205 LB Canby- I would expect Soles to be a 5A conference and state POY candidate in the years ahead. He should double his stat line (33 tackles) from a year ago as the Cougars are one of the fastest rising programs in the state.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278374' first='Blake' last='Hurley'] 6-2 185 ATH Sunset- The only sophomore in the Metro League to earn all-conference honors, other than [player_tooltip player_id='152334' first='Jace' last='Burton'] & [player_tooltip player_id='152335' first='Liam' last='Cassidy']. Hurley comes from a talented family and looked great over the off season.

.[player_tooltip player_id='152351' first='Jaylan' last='Moore'] 5-9 160 CB Sherwood- The 3* DB has garnered praise from many across the state. It was a good move, making the transfer to Sherwood, after earning honorable mention all PIL honors at Jeff as a Sophomore.

.[player_tooltip player_id='291229' first='Sam' last='Keen'] 6-3 290 OL/DL Marist- As stated numerous times Keen is surprisingly mobile for his size. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors as a sophomore and should be relatively dominant at the 4A level.

.[player_tooltip player_id='152362' first='Ethan' last='Burkhead'] 5-11 170 DB Thurston- If he can stay healthy the sky's the limit. Burkhead is one of the fastest kids in the state and should be one of the best in Oregon at the 5A level.

.[player_tooltip player_id='152347' first='Hatimu' last='Letisi'] 6-0 255 DL South Salem- Letisi jumped almost 30 spots on the board after an outstanding off season where he was dominant. He doesn't possess prototypical size for the position but his talent counters that.

.[player_tooltip player_id='152345' first='Gabe' last='Howard'] 6-2 180 WR West Linn- The Oregon baseball commit could play college football if he ever wanted to pursue both. The Lions are loaded so we will see how that translates.

.[player_tooltip player_id='152338' first='Kenen' last='Elder'] 6-0 175 ATH Tualatin- Thus far Elder hasn't gotten the opportunities he would have hoped for on a loaded T-Wolves roster. That should change in the years ahead.

.[player_tooltip player_id='209682' first='Tashi' last='Crofut'] 5-11 205 WLB Lakeridge- Similar to teammate Ehan Biondine, in that they both fly around and are experienced beyond their years. As a sophomore he made 38 total tackles, with 5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks, earning 2nd team all TRL honors.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278373' first='Patrick' last='Wooley'] 6-5 350 DL Liberty- Everyone likes Wooley. He's a great kid and teammate who earned 1st team all-Pacific accolades last season. Question's come with his mobility as he is a massive presence.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278372' first='Jacob' last='Hutchinson'] 6-2 180 QB Jesuit- The Crusaders the run the ball, even more so with backs like Roth and [player_tooltip player_id='152333' first='Lonnie' last='Burt'] Jr. It will be interesting to see what they do from a passing standpoint as Hutchinson is an outstanding overall athlete who can throw.

.[player_tooltip player_id='206846' first='Cayden' last='Eckel'] 5-8 170 RB Roseburg- The small and shifty back had an impressive sophomore campaign, earning 1st team all SWC honors, while helping the Indians to the 2nd round of the 6A playoffs and a 9-2 record.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278398' first='Kasen' last='Covert'] 6-0 180 QB Sherwood- A lot of people will be watching Covert after his success on the 7v7 circuit. The Bowmen return some talented kids, including one of the more experienced lines in the state.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278375' first='Malcolm' last='I'aulualo'] 6-3 245 OL/DT Hood River- Most aren't aware of I'aulualo, playing out in the Gorge but he did well in 2021, racking up 1st team all-league accolades on offense, while potentially projecting on D.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278376' first='Connor' last='Cesaro'] 6-3 190 WR- Cesaro should be a primary target along with the 4* Pugliano, presenting matchup problems for all with their size. He will have big shoes to fill with the graduation of Bryce Dyer.

[player_tooltip player_id='343699' first='Brian' last='Smith'] 6-3 215 TE/DE Tigard- Really like this kid. Smith could climb this list quickly as he has legit size and speed and can play multiple spots on the field.

.[player_tooltip player_id='154326' first='Luke' last='Womack'] 6-4 195 WR Nelson- As noted the 3-sport athlete looks the part and has great size and smarts (4.0 GPA). He makes the move to the new HS where he will team with 2nd team all Mt Hood WR [player_tooltip player_id='270228' first='Max' last='Kirsch'].

.[player_tooltip player_id='152359' first='Zavier' last='Russell'] 6-0 200 RB Jefferson- People have high expectations for Russell who earned 2nd team all PIL honors last season. There are still a lot of unknowns with the team and conference struggling.

.[player_tooltip player_id='384689' first='Eli' last='Johnson'] 6-4 200 WR South Salem- The genes and size speak for themselves. The Saxons are loaded at the skill positions so it will be interesting to see how the ball is spread around. A good problem to have if you are South.

.[player_tooltip player_id='278414' first='Tyson' last='Hunt'] 6-4 215 DE/TE Tualatin- Hunt didn't play much as a Sophomore but has great size and should get in the mix on both sides of the football. He's definitely an appealing two-way threat.

.[player_tooltip player_id='383836' first='Teagen' last='Allen'] 6-3 300 OL Cascade- Allen has legit size and had an outstanding sophomore season earning 1st team all-conference honors. Look for him to be a 1st team all-state kid in the fall.

.[player_tooltip player_id='207259' first='Kyrin' last='Fuimaono'] 6-0 165 QB McKay- Fuimaono started as a freshman and had a phenomenal sophomore campaign, throwing 21 TDs to 4 INTs, while hitting on 65% of his passes. He has helped the Royal Scots turn a corner after going 4-21 from 2018-21'.
