4A football in Oregon doesn’t get a lot of notoriety, but here we take a look at some of the top athletes returning within the state on the offensive side of the ball.
<strong>*No Particular Order</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="271448" first="Dominic" last="Nacoste"] 23’ OL/DL Estacada- One of the top recruits in Oregon at the 4A level. Nacoste has great size (6-3 240) and is an outstanding overall athlete. He was the lineman of the year within the conference and the only Junior in Oregon to earn 1st team all-state honors.
[player_tooltip player_id="147250" first="Brayde" last="Owen"] 23’ DB/ATH Gladstone- Owen is ranked one of the top overall athletes in Oregon regardless of classification. Look for him to be a POY candidate this fall after earning 1st team accolades as a kick returner and DB.
<strong>Shaw Stork</strong> 23’ QB Henley- One of Southern Oregon’s most talented kids regardless of classification. The 2021 conference POY accounted for 2,253 yards and 29 TDs, averaging 9.1 yards per carry with 17 rushing TDs, as a true dual threat QB.
<strong>Cody White</strong> 23’ OL Estacada- The 6-7 250-pound lineman has a stock that is rising quickly. The size speaks for itself as White earned 1st team all-league honors and currently sits on multiple D1 recruiting boards.
<strong>Izzy Jantes</strong> 24’ OL Seaside- Remember the name as Jantes earned 1st team all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors as a sophomore. He can play.
[player_tooltip player_id="272292" first="Devon" last="Anderson"] 23’ QB/ATH North Eugene- One of the top two-way athletes in Oregon at the 4A level. Anderson hit on 61% of passes 11TDs/4 INTs, while averaging 7.5 yards per carry. He earned 1st & 2nd team honors at QB/DB and has legit size at 6-2 170.
<strong>Cory James</strong> 23’ QB Estacada- James racked up conference POY honors and is one of the top players in Oregon at the 4A level.The 6-0 165 pound dual threat athlete will lead a Rangers team that is going to compete for a state title this fall.
<strong>Waylon Riedel</strong> 23’ RB Estacada- One of the only underclassmen in Oregon to earn 1st all conference accolades on both sides of the football. The 5-10 220-pound RB was too much for most defenses to handle.
<strong>Cael White</strong> 23’ WR Madras- White earned 1st team all-conference and honorable mention all-state accolades, as one of the more unknown, yet talented athletes in the state at the 4A level.
<strong>Brady Nichols</strong> 23’ WR Sweet Home- Nichols earned 1st team all-conference and 2nd team all-state honors. He was the highest-ranking underclassmen at the skill positions from an all-state standpoint.
<strong>Teagen Allen</strong> 24’ OL Cascade- Allen has legit size (6-3 300) and had an outstanding sophomore season earning 1st team all-conference honors. Look for him to be a 1st team all-state kid in the fall.
<strong>Trevor Anderson</strong> 23’ RB Mazama- Anderson went off as a junior earning 1st team honors at RB & LB and honorable mention all-state accolades on D. He could project as more of a safety at the next level.
<strong>Diego Rodriguez</strong> 25’ WR Ontario- Even at the 4A level it’s extremely rare for a freshman to earn 1st all-conference honors but that’s what he did. He was a standout as a youngster and has continued to excel.
<strong>Noah Mcilmoil</strong> 23’ TE La Grande- An undersized TE who earned 1st team all-league and honorable mention all-state honors. Mcilmoil had an outstanding junior season.
<strong>Brody Hubble</strong> Jr. Mazama- Another kid much like Trevor Anderson, who had an outstanding junior campaign, earning 1st team all conference honors on both sides of the football at WR/LB.
