<strong>THE WILDCATS</strong>
After a promising 4-2 start, there were those who felt that making the state playoffs, but then came a dry spell and this team went through some tough teams.
While those early season wins against Pensacola (21-3), Pensacola Escambia (28-24), Milton (25-22) and Cantonment Tate (44-7) were impressive and something to be optimistic about, it was those final four games that dictated the season.
Setbacks against Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Catholic, Pensacola Pine Forest and Pace truly turned what was a good season into one that didn’t end well.
What happened this off-season was a dedication to getting better and jumping back into the playoff mix – with a solid spring and a path toward this summer.
