QB Malcom Gooden – 6’0″ 190 / Bryan HS — @MalcomGooden8
Gooden missed most of the 2021 season with a fractured bone in his right leg, but recently ran a 4.5 at the Texas A&M camp, so you can believe he’s back and better than ever headed into his senior season. During his sophomore season, accounted for nearly 1,600 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is a great athlete whose future may be at WR or CB at the next level. Bona fide playmaker.
OL Isacc Ibarra – 6’4″ 350 / Bryan HS — @IsaccIbarra4
Ibarra is quite the load up front for the Vikings. Lines up at tackle, but projects as a guard at the next level. Very nimble feet for a 350-pounder and moves well in space. He does a good job of getting inside hand placement, which enables him to excel in pass protection. Quite underrated.
Currently has a Division 3 offer from Howard Payne.
WR Nate Figgers – 6’5″ 175 / Bryan Rudder HS — @NathanilFiggers
Junior Stats: 27 receptions, 511 yards, 3 touchdowns
Quite the athlete, Figgers recently clocked a 4.62 in the 40 and broad jumped 10’1″ at the Aggie football camp. Equipped with active hands at the line of scrimmage and sneaky explosiveness, he can get off of press coverage and win with either an inside or outside release. Because of his size, is a reliable red zone target who will win jump-ball battles. Is a must-watch headed into 2022.
Throw it up and he’ll come down with it.
DT Jayden Williams – 6’4″ 260 / Bryan Rudder HS — @CntBejy1
Williams is a talented pass rusher, plain and simple. He’s stout at the point of attack and does a nice job of setting up his rush with a jab step. Flashes the ability to break his blocker down before he blows by him. In the run game, he defeats cross blocks and is able to pursue backside to make plays on the ballcarrier. As of now, is a very under-recruited prospect who is worthy of more attention.
Currently has a Division 3 offer from Howard Payne.
WR Kevin Holmes Jr. – 6’4″ 180 / Bryan Rudder HS — @Kj9_Holmes
Junior Stats: 39 receptions, 590 yards, 7 touchdowns
A true X who, because of his strength, can fight off smaller corners, Holmes usually wins 1-on-1 matchups and comes down with contested balls. He doesn’t have elite explosiveness, but is quick enough to sidestep defenders in the open field and keep the chains moving. Where he really shines, though, is in the red zone. Is a matchup nightmare who will outjump defensive backs anywhere in the end zone. Similar to his teammates Figgers and Williams, is worthy of more recruiting attention.
Currently has a Division 2 offer from UT-Permian Basin.
