It was a warm and humid day at the Woody Hayes Athletic Facility on the campus of Ohio State University. The heat didn’t seem to bother the players, however, as they put their skills on showcase for a bevy of college coaches from Division 1 to Division 3. It was a lot of 24’s and 25’s and quarterbacks that seemed to jump out at me on this day.

OL KJ Kotalik (Wynford) 2025 6’8 285- Because of his size Kotalik is absolutely unmissable anytime he’s near. Then you learn that he’s only a 2025, and it’s hard to wrap your brain around. Kotalik has good fee for a young man of his age and size. He needs to continue to get stronger, but with the added strength and continued work on technique his ceiling is very high.

6’5 and 6’6 respectively, David and Daniel are huge targets with excellent length. Sometimes the added length results in lesser explosiveness, not so with the Ajose’s. They do well getting in and out of their cuts. I would like to see David and Daniel work on their flexibility as I think that would bring some added fluidity to their game. All in all these two have a ton of upside and could see D1 offers in their future.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="126480" first="Blake" last="Lichtenberg"] (Toledo St. John) 2023 6’1 190- I love Lichtenberg’s quick release and consistency. He’s not flashy, but he yields the results that you look for with a ball delivered on time and with accuracy. Lichtenberg is getting mid-major interests from several MAC schools.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="284602" first="Timothy" last="Carpenter"] (Trotwood-Madison) 2024 6’4 200-
Carpenter is a big, strong, and athletic QB. Quite simply he has the size and physical tools that any D1 offensive coach is going to fall in love with. My main critique would be to see a little more consistency with his motion and release. He’s getting MAC interest right now I could easily see him start to pick up some P5 interest this camp season.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="284940" first="Tyrell" last="Lewis"] (Wayne) 2025 6’0 175- Lewis is silky smooth. He has a quick and fluid motion. He has a live arm and the ball jumps off his hand.
