Jackson High School edge rusher <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="177034" first="Tony" last="Terry Jr"].</strong> became the latest Missouri standout 2023 football prospect to make a college commitment when he announced his pledge to the University of Kansas on Tuesday.
Terry, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end, picked the Jayhawks after receiving an offer from Kansas on June 4.
He also received scholarship offers from Kansas State, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Kent State, Illinois State, Arkansas State, Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, Central Michigan, Utah State, New Mexico State, Southeast Missouri State.

<strong>CBC DUO MAKE PLEDGES</strong>
Two key members of CBC’s 2021 state championship squad made their college commitments in the past few weeks.
Defensive lineman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37675" first="Tyler" last="Gant"] </strong>committed to Northwestern on May 15.
A 6-3, 280-pounder, Gant had a breakout season a year ago as a junior when he racked up 73 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions during the Cadets’ championship run. He’s also a high-academic student with a self-reported cumulative grade-point average of 4.25.
Gant picked the Wildcats over an impressive offer list that included Iowa, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas State, Kansas, Indiana, Boston College, Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa State, Nebraska, West Virginia and others.

Offensive tackle <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171840" first="Josh" last="Gregory"]</strong> committed to Cincinnati on June 4.
Gregory, a 6-7, 270-pounder, started at right tackle for CBC as a junior after giving up basketball and joining the football team midway through his sophomore season.
He committed to Cincinnati after receiving offers from Minnesota, Northwestern, Kansas, Memphis, Northern Illinois, Miami-Ohio, Arkansas State, Western Michigan, New Mexico State, Howard, Southern Illinois, Tulane, Kent State, Ball State and Eastern Michigan.

<strong>RAY-PEC’S DOSS COMMITS TO NEBRASKA</strong>
Raymore-Peculiar 2023 wide receiver <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="99468" first="Jaidyn" last="Doss"]</strong> committed to Nebraska on June 3.
Doss was the Otis Taylor Award winner as the best wide receiver in the Kansas City area and a first-team all-state selection as a sophomore in 2020 after leading Ray-Pec to a state championship. A year ago, as a junior, he scored e<span style="font-size: 1rem;">ight total touchdowns in nine games — he had 26 receptions for 426 yards and four scores; rushed for 338 yards rushing and three touchdowns and added a punt return score.</span>
Doss picked the Huskers over an impressive offer list that included Michigan, Oregon, Michigan State, TCU, Missouri, Kansas State, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado and Iowa State.

Terry, Gant, Gregory and Doss join an impressive list of Missouri 2023 prospects who have already made their college commitments. Those four join De Smet tight end <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37655" first="Mac" last="Markway"]</strong> (LSU), Francis Howell tight end <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37661" first="Brett" last="Norfleet"]</strong> (Missouri), Troy Buchanan edge rusher <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37663" first="Jahkai" last="Lang"]</strong> (Missouri), Washington offensive-defensive lineman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="262940" first="Mark" last="Hensley"]</strong> (Northern Illinois) and Parkway North athlete <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37693" first="Quaran" last="Williams"]</strong> (Miami-Ohio) as early verbal commitments.
The Class of 2023 in Missouri is a deep and talented class that looks like it will produce dozens of Division I signees before all is said and done.
