Continue ReadingThe season is almost upon us! Today we’re looking at the state’s top incoming 2026 prospects. These youngsters have yet to play a varsity down but have already impressed on film as 8th graders. Some have even picked up division one offers. Look for them to be some of the state’s top prospects over the next four years.
OL: Ben Nichols Ben Nichols 6'6" | 325 lbs | OL Davison | 2026 State MI , 6’5″ 295, Davison
A twitchy big man with an intimidating punch. Nichols already has the size of a division one offensive line prospect and shows consistent movement skills as well. He was a man amongst boys on film, using his raw power and pure mean streak to dominate at the point of attack.
Went 4-2, can’t wait for next season! 8th grade season highlights! Playing at DT, DE, LG. @AllenTrieu @AlPopsFootball @Bryan_Ault @On3Recruits @DavCardFootball @RyanBOliver @CSmithScout @agency_met @TheSHOWByNXGN @GMTMSports @PrepRedzoneMI @DTVSports1 @BigDuke50 @NationalPID pic.twitter.com/cYFhgeaVT3

QB: Corey Sadler Corey Sadler 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Cass Tech | 2026 State MI , 5’10″ 160, Detroit Community
Sadler has the makings of a future star at the high school level. On film, the ball jumps out of his hand with a tight spiral. He’s a consistent anticipatory thrower with plenty of arm to push the field vertically. He turns into Hoodini when forced to improvise and is a dynamic runner in close quarters. He already holds an offer from Michigan State and should be a four-star prospect who could push for five stars when it’s all said and done.
OL: Benjamin Eziuka Benjamin Eziuka 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Detroit Catholic Central | 2026 State MI , 6’3″ 285, Detroit Catholic Central
A nimble pass protector that is beyond his years from a technical standpoint. Benjamin is quick out of his stance, can re-direct laterally, and has a strong lower half to anchor down against a bull rush. This kid plays with such composure, letting his opponent show their cards before he shoots his hands.

ATH: Tristan Comer Tristan Comer 6'7" | 220 lbs | TE Freeland | 2026 State MI , 6’6″ 215, Freeland
A cheat code with ridiculous athleticism. On film, Comer was throwing down on kids as a hooper and used that same explosiveness on the gridiron. This young man plays nasty, driving opponents ten to fifteen yards off the ball before burying them into the turf. I’m not sure what position he’ll play at the high school level just yet, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he kicked down inside as a tackle.
Man I can’t wait till high school 😈😈 #twosportathlete #basketball #football #team #work #maximumeffort #goallout @PrepHoopsNext @PrepHoopsMI @OLineScout @BleacherReport @brgridiron @SLAM_HS @NikeEYB @NikeEYB pic.twitter.com/o0DFB4eB9e

DB: Dijon Wilson, 6’ 160, River Rouge
A cornerback with smooth hips and impressive ball skills. Wilson does a good job leaning & locating the football and plays extremely intuitive. He has the speed to run with quicker wideouts and is comfortable being left out on an island.
WR: Isaiah Harris Isaiah Harris 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Saline | 2026 State MI , 6’2″ 180, Saline
A jump ball artist who is nearly unguardable in the red area. Harris shows exceptional burst off the snap and an innate ability to track the deep ball. He’s going to be a bigger wide receiver prospect and already glides like a deer with almost effortless change of direction.
DB: AJ Marks AJ Marks 5'8" | 140 lbs | DB Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2026 MI , 5’8″ 150, St. Marys
A fundamentally sound defensive back who can weave while still keeping his shoulders square. He shows compact feet that stay within the framework of his body and a competitive mindset. He’s reliable out of a pedal or shuffle & shows dynamite recovery speed when beat.
Great time competing at @UMichFootball Camp & learned from @coachclink @19Bellamy @AKarsch_UM🔒 Thanks for having me! @AllenTrieu @EJHollandOn3 @ZachLibby @AlPopsFootball @EdOBrienCFB @TheUCReport @Compete24_ @SMSBFootball @BappNAinEZBino @dhglover @RyanBOliver @RWrightRivals pic.twitter.com/vV7D4VXyQZ
