Check out the key players that will play a factor in the 7A region.</span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Bradley Shaw 6’0 200 MLB</strong></span> <span data-preserver-spaces="true">Shaw is a defensive playmaker who excels at wrecking games. Strip Sacks, pick-sixes, forced fumbles, and pass deflections make Shaw a player that must be accounted for at all times. With blazing speed, he can flow sideline to sideline and make plays all over the field. Shows an ability to be disruptive in the passing lane with a solid vertical explosion and instinct. He can read his keys and get downhill in the run game. Shaw is also adept at avoiding blocks and keeping himself clean when pursuing ball carriers. He shows solid fundamentals and bursts in the open field and doesn’t miss tackles. With a low center of gravity and elite lower body strength, Williams can always bounce off tackles, make the first guy miss, and gain yards after contact on most of his touches. This, in addition to his top-tier contact balance, forces the defense to gang tackle to bring him down. Though he has a rugged running style, Willimas can be a dynamic receiver out the backfield. With natural pass-catching skills and running back instinct, he can do major damage from screens, flares, and quick game routes - making him a 3-down back. He’s extremely explosive out his cuts and can maintain his speed at the top of his routes- making him dangerous on slants and speed-outs. Law’s biggest strength is elite acceleration; his 0-60 is elite and makes him a threat in the quick game and intermediate portions of the field. In addition, he Uses a change of speed well when running double moves and gaining yards after the catch on short routes. Look for Law to be the No.1 option and a go-to player of the Hoover offense. </span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="240437" first="Ethan" last="Hubbard"] 6’7 280 OT/OG 2023 </strong></span> <span data-preserver-spaces="true">Hubbard is a dominant force on the line that sets the tone for his team with his physical play. As an offensive lineman, he’s a pure mauler who can open lanes in the run game and be a protector in passing situations. With elite strength and hand placement Hubbard seems to always win the leverage battle and maintain control of the inside of defenders and drive them out of the play. This addition to his elite grip strength makes him a threat to take any defender out of the play if he gets his hands on him. These skills translate over to his pass blocking, where he consistently wins with inside strikes and withstand bull rushes to keep his QB clean.
