Pass rush is key at any level of football, the ability to create pressure and make the opposing quarterback uncomfortable is key to any defensive gameplan.
Having a defensive end that can disrupt from the outside and bring constant pressure and also wreak havoc in the run game as well, is always top target for any college program. The ability to line up as a 5 technique or even widen out as a 9 technique to be a disruptive presence is also a great trait to have as well.

A tall athletic defensive end that has a quick first step off the line of scrimmage which allows him to engage the opposing offensive tackle then quickly disengage him to make a play in the opposing offensive backfield. He is strong at the point of attack and shows to be active in pursuit to the football by getting down the line quickly and making a play.

The word "explosive" is the first word that comes to mind when watching Donovan’s film, he generates a quick first step off the snap and creates havoc in the backfield. He demonstrates the ability to redirect and bend off the edge, has good ankle flexation and knee bend to get underneath opposing offensive tackles.
<strong>Braydin Ward 6-7 220 Riverside High School (Belle, WV)</strong>
He has great traits with his height and length, and a good frame which he could add weight on when he plays at the next level. Speaking of playing at the next level he currently holds two offers from Marshall and West Virginia. He shows to have an explosive quick first step off the snap of the football, has a plan when attacking an offensive lineman without any hesitation in his movements.

A physical defensive end that is strong at the point of attack has heavy hands that when he strikes, he shocks the opposing offensive tackle. He an instinctive player as well, knows the situation on each and every play and demonstrates the ability to read and react quickly and effectively.
