The first event in the RDU Region was a big sucess with lots of talented players. I am now doing reviews on the top players in their positional groups. The next group up for review are the Defensive Backs.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="345340" first="Cole" last="Searight"], 6’0" 185, (NC 2024 Prospect), Marvin Ridge HS</strong>. Cole displayed very good lateral movement and the ability to change direction quickly. He displayed good speed and used his arms well to cover receivers during the one-on-one drills, breaking up passes. Cole was impressive in his coverage ability which earned him the MVP Award for the defensive backs group. Cole’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="345338" first="Xavier" last="Pugh"], 5’10" 190, (NC 2023 Prospect), Millbrook HS</strong>. Xavier displayed good speed and agility as he participated in the various drills during the event. He displayed good lateral and the ability to change direction smoothly. Xavier used his speed and quickness to cover receivers during the one-on-one drills, making it tough to complete a pass against him. Xavier’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="345339" first="Tavian" last="Williams"], 6’2" 165, (NC 2023 Prospect), Wake Forest HS</strong>. Tavian displayed good agility and quickness as he participated in the various drills during the event. He displayed the ability to change direction quickly and good lateral movement. Tavian used his speed and long arms to blanket receivers during the one-on-one drills, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. Tavian’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="345341" first="Kam" last="Manley"], 5’8" 165, (NC 2024 Prospect), Rolesville HS</strong>. Kam displayed quickness and good agility as he participated in the various drills during the event. He displayed good speed and lateral movement to change direction quickly. Kam did a good job of covering receivers during the one-on-one drills. Kam’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
