2023 Linebackers With The Most Fun Highlights to Watch

The linebacker postion I believe is becoming more and more important now in the modern era of football. If you have a linebacker that can run, cover, and tackle, that can be a huge difference maker for you football team. I have been so impressed with this 2023 class of linebackers. Many of these guys posses all the key traits to have succcess at the collegiate level. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="300704" first="Trey" last="Brueggemann"] | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13177699/61b4fa10ab9d750d4c1874e7">Hudl</a></strong> The first thing that stands out about Brueggemann’s game is his play strength. He has the ability to throw blockers off of him an make tackles. Bruggemann has numerous highlight tackles where he wraps up with perfect technique and drives ball carriers back. Brueggemann shows no hesitation to come up and hit ball carriers in the hole. This is something that I place big importance on for linebackers. I also like how well Brueggemann stays square when working through traffic. He is so quick to diagnose where plays are going and then flying to the football. You have to be excited to see how well he does in 2022. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="150028" first="Cavanaugh" last="Diton"] | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GCBsz">Hudl</a></strong> Diton’s acceleration at his size is outstanding. This combonation is the main reason why he has so many highlight tackles either at or behind the line of scrimmage. Like Brueggemann, Diton is a fearless hitter who loves to meet running backs in the hole. Diton is tremdous at getting off blocks as well. There are many plays where the blocker cannot stay in front of Diton due to his strength and quickness. Diton also shows abiltiy in coverage as well. You have to love his due it all ability at the linebacker position. Offenses will need to know where <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="150028" first="Cavanaugh" last="Diton"] </strong>is on every single play. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="30352" first="Danero" last="Harris"] | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GWARf">Hudl</a></strong> Harris does a good job of always getting to the football. He is so go at using his quickness to avoid blocks and stop ball carriers in the tracks. Harris will fly down the field and make tackles on kickoff as well. Harris does and excellent job of wrapping up and driving ball carriers back. Harris will certainly be a key returner for a Detroit King team that won the Division 3 state championship last season. <strong>Bryce Eliuk | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/6122968/6212fbbf90f9dd09bcbf4f66">Hudl</a></strong> Like the other guys on this list, Eliuk has incredible play strength. Eliuk has the ability to take on multiple blockers on a given play. Eliuk does a tremendous job staying square and not getting pushed back. Eliuk is as good of run stuffing linebacker you will see. He is the type of guy opposing teams will not look forward to trying to run against. Eliuk has impressive long speed as well and it shows up when he breaks long runs at the runningback position. Eliuk not only looks to shed blockers he has the strength and tenacity to drive them to the ground. I am looking forward to seeing how Eliuk does in 2022. I believe he will be a tackling machine once agins for this Linden football team.
