As we know by now, the state of Georgia is littered with elite high school football talent. In fact, you could argue that it has the most talent in the entire country. This means that a handful of prospects might get lost in the mix of things, even though they are clearly worthy of being a highly sought-after recruit. Here, we take a look at one prospect each from the 2023-2026 recruiting classes and what makes them worthy of an offer. 2023 Joshua Barker - DT - Kell Sitting at around 5’11-6’0 might be the reason that Joshua Barker doesn’t have a load of interest on the trail, even though guys like Aaron Donald and Poona Ford have crushed the stigma that smaller defensive linemen don’t have what it takes to be a big-time football player. Personally, I believe Barker would be a blue-chip prospect if he was 6’3. From a pure athleticism and explosiveness standpoint, Barker is in a league of his own. Barker is also extremely versatile and can play up and down the defensive front. His unique ability to rush the passer from any position is what makes him so special. His speed and explosiveness allow for him to have an overwhelming bull-rush, but he is also extremely nimble on his feet and active with his hands which allows him to work his way around lineman as well. Thus far, Barker has offers from Presbyterian, Reinhardt, Warner, Morehouse, and Columbia. Again, Barker is a freak athlete with the production to back it up (57 tackles, 10 sacks, 37 TFLs). A few years from now, Barker could be a guy that D1 programs regret passing up because of his size 2024 Nigel Agyemang - RB - Creekview Nigel Agyemang is very much a secret on the varsity scene, but I think he has the potential to become a PO5 RB. He also happens to be a standout on the basketball court, and could probably play both in college if he wanted to. Sitting at around 6’2 200 pounds, Agyemang already has the ideal size and frame for an every-down back. He has a thick, muscular build and still has room to add 10-20 pounds. I heard good things about Agyemang entering the offseason, and the hype was validated when I got eyes on his twice. Last season was his first year playing football, so he is obviously a little raw. But he still shows the ability to bounce off tacklers and shoot through openings in the offseason front. If anything, his inexperience should just be more reason to get in on him, as he shows some unreal potential. Colleges probably want to see what he can do at the varsity level before offering, but I would recommend getting in on him early before the flood gates open for his recruitment.

2024 RB Nigel Agyemang getting loose out at receiver.
MASSIVE prospect with tons of explosiveness. Can’t wait to see him go full-speed tonight. @NigelAgyemang_ @FtballAtTheView pic.twitter.com/NOSDVuRUae — Connor Jackson (@ConnorC_Jackson) May 19, 2022
2025 [player_tooltip player_id="275983" first="Jaiden" last="Daniels"] - RB - Commerce [player_tooltip player_id="275983" first="Jaiden" last="Daniels"] blew onto the scene last season by putting up a ridiculous 1,425 rushing yards with 13 TDs. At around 5’9 160, Daniels might not be the biggest back that will rumble through anything in his path, but he is steadily adding weight and is one of the more explosive and elusive backs in the 2025 class. Daniels is a natural runner with great balance. He can bounce off tacklers and maintain his balance while using his burst to get downfield in a hurry. His uncanny ability to change direction without sacrificing speed and balance is something that we rarely see in younger RBs. To this day, Daniels doesn’t have any offers. However, he has improved physically since last season and is on pace for a record-breaking high school career. The offers are coming, and they should be coming fairly soon for one of the most productive freshman backs in the country. 2026 Kali Ellis - OL - Cass "Workaholic" is a perfect way to describe Ellis, and his brother Kaden, who is a big-time prospect in the 2025 class. The two of them always seem to be improving and have drawn a lot of attention because of it. Kali is a great athlete along the offensive front. So much so, that I would not be shocked at all if he ends up playing some defensive line over the next few seasons. At 6’2 275, he already has enough size to make an impact on varsity, and has gotten even bigger since last season. He has outstanding strength in his lower half, which allows him to drive defenders out of the play and create gaping holes at the line of scrimmage. He is also extremely versatile and shows the ability on film to play up and down the offensive front. You can almost count on Ellis steadily improving every season thanks to his work ethic. Because of that, he is someone I would extend an offer to right now.

Doing lineman things...missing it [player_tooltip player_id="205937" first="Kail" last="Ellis"] C/O 2026 Pos: OT, C or G Ht: 6’1 Wt: 260lbs Georgia Elite Classic selection Born 2 Compete All American@UANextFootball Camp invite ‘21@Trey_Griffey_ @tballardqbcoach @DemetricDWarren @Chris_GantJr @RecruitGeorgia pic.twitter.com/MuTp8BlJ3I
— [player_tooltip player_id="205937" first="Kail" last="Ellis"] (@KailEllis78) February 5, 2022
