OLB/SS Brady Gibson – 6’0″ 205 / Hillcrest HS — @BradyGibson2023
Junior Stats: 116 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 3 pass breakups
Gibson is the complete package as a linebacker. Reads his keys well and gets in position to make plays. He has great sideline-to-sideline speed and eats up space in a hurry. What I like about him the most is that he flies to the ball carrier and doesn’t whiff on tackles. In the run game, Gibson arrives at opposing running backs with force. He is a no-brainer for a college program looking for a difference-maker at outside linebacker.

QB Joseph Williams – 6’3″ 185 / Mansfield Summit HS — @JosephWQB1 / Class of ’24
Williams takes the reins at quarterback for the first time, as he replaces the record-setting David Hopkins. Watch the first play of his highlight and you’ll see the kind of mobility and accuracy Joseph brings to the table. Can put it right on the money in tight windows, and is deadly when keeping the ball on zone reads. The Cougars are a well-coached bunch who always have solid leaders on the field, and I know Williams will blossom over the course of his junior season into a premier statewide recruit in the Class of ’24.

RB Dontavious Rice – 5’8″ 170 / Arlington Bowie HS — @Dontae_22
Rice is a 5’8″ running back who sees the field well and gets downhill in a hurry. Finds the cutback lane and does an exceptional job of making the most of every carry. Could be quite the pickup for a small college program looking to add some juice to their backfield in 2023.

C/G Brandon Garnett – 6’1″ 280 / Arlington Bowie HS — @D1_Garnett
What I like about Garnett is his toughness. Small in stature, but don’t let that deter you – this young man is someone you want on your line for years to come. He is aggressive in the run game and able to work his way up to the second level cleanly. Flashes good ability in pass protection as well. Proper hand placement and leverage when engaged allows him to effortlessly drive defensive tackles back. Keeps his quarterback clean and upright.

WR Jaylen Sanders – 6’0″ 190 / Arlington Bowie HS — @TheJaySanders
Sanders is a steady, reliable inside receiver for the Volunteers. Does a great job of getting clean releases at the snap, and runs precise routes to get open and keep cornerbacks off balance. He has great hands and catches anything thrown his way. Shows a lot of promise as a perimeter blocker as well. Keeps the chains moving. Could be a steal for a small college looking to add quality to its wide receiver room.
