With wins over Panama City Rutherford (42-0), Panama City Bay (42-0), Panama City Beach Arnold (42-14), Tallahassee Lincoln (42-14), Mobile Christian, Alabama (49-0), Fort Walton Beach Choctawhatchee (42-14), Navarre (30-7), Tallahassee Rickards (28-13) and Fort Walton Beach (48-6), the Dolphins had made a major statement. While the unexpected loss to Havana Gadsden County (23-17, 2 OT) stung, it gave them focus – beating Gulf Breeze (52-35) and Tallahassee Lincoln for the second time in the season, 31-28, in the playoffs. The impressive year came to an end, dashing those state championship goals to eventual state runner up Pensacola Pine Forest, 49-14. As the focus quickly turned to 2022, the commitment in the off-season has been amazing – with a tremendous spring and a solid off-season.
