Steve Clarkson's annual "The QB Retreat" is taking place this weekend in Los Angeles. Each year it is the largest gathering of top high school and college quarterbacks in the nation. Some of the college counselors that will be on hand will be Bryce Young (Alabama), CJ Stroud (Ohio State), [player_tooltip player_id="25273" first="Katin" last="Houser"] (Michigan State), [player_tooltip player_id="25228" first="Maalik" last="Murphy"] (Texas) and [player_tooltip player_id="25247" first="Justyn" last="Martin"] (UCLA). Here is a preview of the high school quarterbacks that are expected to be in attendance: 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="25419" first="Malachi" last="Nelson"], Los Alamitos, USC: The USC commit is one of the top recruits in the nation regardless of position. His delivery is one of the smoothest I have ever seen and he is arguably the best quarterback in the nation. [player_tooltip player_id="25431" first="Jaden" last="Rashada"], Pittsburg, Uncommitted: The top uncommitted quarterback prospect in the state. Rashada was the MVP of the Elite 11 Regionals in Las Vegas earlier this month. [player_tooltip player_id="127665" first="Christopher" last="Vizzina"], Briarwood Christian, Clemson: Vizzina is the No. 7 quarterback in the nation according to 247Sports and was a star at the Elite 11 Regionals in April. [player_tooltip player_id="25367" first="Pierce" last="Clarkson"], St. John Bosco, Louisville: Clarkson is the son of the camp's founder Steve Clarkson. He is one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the country. 2024 Dylan Raiola, Chandler, Ohio State: Raiola is the top rated overall player in the 2024 class according to 247Sports. He is also a standout catcher who could play baseball at the college level. He is projected to be an early NFL draft pick and his father Dominic Raiola was a 14-year center for the Detroit Lions. Notre Dame is high on his list and has a quarterback from the San Diego region on its current roster. He has 20 offers and plans on going to a camp at Clemson in June.
