Long Beach Poly class of 2023 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id="144960" first="Daylen" last="Austin"] announced his commitment to LSU on Monday. Austin is one of the fastest players I have covered in person and the numbers back it up. He ran a 10.82 in the 100 as a junior. He is a 4 star recruit with offers from all the major schools. He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he committed in person in April right before the LSU spring game and he chose the school because of its ability to send defensive backs to the NFL. Schroller is 6-foot-6 and carries his 270 pound frame very well. Boise State, Utah State and UNLV all offered him bringing his offer total to 11. Kornely was one of the top passers in Orange County the past two seasons and suffered an injury late in the season that caused him to miss the team’s playoff game. He completed 71 percent of his passes for 2,341 yards and 23 touchdowns last season with just two interceptions.
