Pennsylvania Quarterbacks Impressing on National Circuit

Pennsylvania quarterbacks over the last few weeks have been having strong performances on national circuits including the lauded Elite 11 Camps. We take a look at a few of those top performers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91663" first="Garrett" last="Harrold"] - Penn Cambria </strong> At the Elite 11 regional in Washington D.C. this past weekend, Harrold came away with the fourth-best overall rating when it comes to combine events. The 6-foot-3, 197-pound quarterback received a rating of 96.75. During the regional, he recorded a high-quality 40-yard dash time of 4.59, a vertical jump of 29.9, and an agility shuttle of 4.43. Harrold is a quarterback I’m high on and you can see in his highlight film the athleticism that helped him record that rating. Harrold has a strong arm and has shown quality accuracy, with the ball in his hands, he has the ability to barrel through opposing defenders but also has quick feet and fluid enough hips that allow him to also be quite elusive for a quarterback. He holds a pair of offers so far from Saint Francis and Clarion. <strong>Anthony Torres - Cheltenham</strong> Right under Harrold in the top performers from the Elite 11 regional was Cheltenham standout Anthony Torres who scored a combine rating of 94.26. Torres, a prospect we absolutely love here at PrepRedzone, ran a 4.5 forty-yard dash and a 4.2 shuttle during the Elite 11 combine portion of the event. Torres is a fun quarterback to watch on tape, his athleticism is prevalent from the start and he shows off quite the arm as well. As long as he continues to improve on his passing abilities, Torres has the opportunity to become a dynamic game-changer at quarterback at the next level. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91722" first="Levan" last="McFadden"]  -  York Catholic</strong> McFadden also finished in the top 10 when it came to his combine finishing at No.8 with a combine rating of 93.24, the York Catholic signal caller recorded a 40-yard dash of 4.73, a shuttle of 4.28, and a vertical jump of 37.8 in the process. McFadden has good arm strength and has shown the ability to be an accurate passer. On the ground, as one can expect, he’s elusive and dangerous, especially in the open field. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="140946" first="Colin" last="O’Sullivan"] - Upper Dublin</strong> O’Sullivan is one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the state, recording a 69% completion percentage last season for Upper Dublin. During the Elite 11 regional, O’Sullivan showed off that accuracy and came away with the top honors with a score of 21. The Upper Dublin standout has one offer so far, that coming from Cornell but is receiving quite a bit of interest from other FCS programs as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91667" first="Ryan" last="Zeltt"] - North Penn</strong> Zeltt finished tied for second in the Pro Day aspect of the camp with a score of 20, just one behind O’Sullivan. The North Penn quarterback is receiving quite a bit of interest from FCS programs and already has an offer from Lehigh. Zeltt is impressive on film with good touch on his passes as shown with various different routes as well as spots on the field. The ball comes out of his hand with nice velocity and often puts it in spots where only his receivers can get it. He also has sneaky athleticism including a 40-yard dash of 4.75.
