Our first installment of the Community Film Room begins with numerous players out of Serra Catholic, as well as some out-of-state players who deserve some recognition. Tweet your film underneath my CFR thread each week to sue your spot. This series will be for athletes who I have not previously written on in the past.

Really solid production out of a big, pure running back in [player_tooltip player_id="306925" first="Caden" last="Henritzy"]. 187 attempts, 940+ yards, 13 total TDs were his line from this past Fall. Henritzy has some LB reps on tape, but this kid might be one of the more natural running backs I have covered in this series. Strong kid whose wants to hurt you with every limb on his body. Can lower his shoulder for extra yards, tackles thrown at his legs can be easily absorbed, stiff arms are violent, solid lower body balance. The Northampton product is active in the passing game which is a plus. He isn’t going to wow with ridiculous athleticism at RB. He will wow you with terrific patience, toughness, and short area burst. A sophomore who has a great understanding of how to set up his blocks in space with patience and pacing. Hope to soon be a ranked player.

<em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="279958" first="John" last="Klein"] | 5’10, 185 | LB/TE | Tamaqua Area | 2023 </strong></span></em>
Here’s a linebacker whose game screams "see it, hit it." This kid specializes in read & react ability, seeing where the ball carrier is headed and running to the football. Not much thinking or hesitating throughout the play, the kid plays with instincts and is often rewarded. Klein isn’t going to wow you from an athletic or measurable perspective, but count on this young man to seek out the ball carrier well between the hash marks like his life is on the line. Like his ability to shuffle through traffic and square up at the point of attack. Klein proves Tamaqua with some pass-catching from his TE spot when needed. Not a one trick pony. Can’t wait to see where he works at our Prospect Tour event this weekend.

<strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="326778" first="Ayden" last="Thompson"] | 6’2, 250 | OL | Greensburg Salem | 2024</span></em></strong>
Very intriguing prospect, another 2024 kid which might be the theme of this article. [player_tooltip player_id="326778" first="Ayden" last="Thompson"] out of GSHS has a great collection of reps on tape that show he has potential to dominate in the trenches. Programs might be put off by his height/weight combination at tackle, but this kid’s tape is worthy of some looks. Awesome punch that can knock defenders off the ball without much momentum. Athleticism! We all love an athletic linemen that can move in space and bend his knees. That’s Thompson. His athleticism is good enough to counter speed rushes outside, he has some pass protection reps on tape which is rare for 2024s in his area. Run-blocking is his bread and butter. Great get-off, great initial punch, followed by plenty of lower body strength to drive kids to the ground and out of the play. Can question his size, but can’t question what you see on tape. I do however wish said tape was longer, more production could do wonders for this young man. Hope to have him at our Prospect Tour Event next week.

<em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="256251" first="Ahmad" last="Arrington"] | 5’10, 165 | ATH | Perry | 2024</strong></span></em>
Awesome touch out of Arrington. What impresses me out of this young man is his ability to do the hard things so well, so early on. He can delivery great touch throws downfield with pressure in his face, did so multiple times on tape. He can take a scramble 70+ yards to the house on his own. The tough flashy things he does so well. Later in his tape, you can see Arrington work his targets underneath a bit more, showing he can move his eyes while staying in the pocket. He showed off some accuracy and good decision making at the goal line as well, another thing that is great to see out of a young quarterback. He’s a smooth operator in the pocket but electric when taking off. I just want to see more production to really dissect his game further. Future ranked player for sure, a player who can score from anywhere, with his arm or legs.

<em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="256294" first="Mason" last="Musitano"] | 6’3, 165 | WR/DB | Fleetwood | 2024</strong></span></em>
Highly productive WR and DB out of Fleetwood. 29 receptions, 480+ yards, 6 TDs on offense, 2 INT’s at DB to boot. [player_tooltip player_id="256294" first="Mason" last="Musitano"], Fleetwood’s leading receiver as a sophomore, has some of the better hands I’ve seen in this series. A complete package, early film shows off Musitano’s ability to beat a defense deep. Subtle footwork and stemming seemingly has this young man wide open behind a defense more often than not. Love his size at both positions. 6’3, 165 pounds. 165 may suggest he is frail, not the case. Deeper into his tape, you can see him work the short areas of the field really well. His awareness and connection with the quarterback in these situations impresses me more than streaks going for touchdowns. There is some nuance to his short/intermediate game that excites me for his future. All around wideout who won’t wow you in space, but can certainly hurt a defense from anywhere on the field. Aggressive and willing blocker. Love his DB tape as well. I do project him to stay at WR or a move to S in the future, but love his reps at corner. Can play through a receivers hands, can stay with downfield speed thanks to his long stride. A lot to like from this young man. Hope to see his production increase this Fall.
