OT Kaleb Yount – 6’4″ 260 / Thorndale HS — @Kaleb_Yount / Class of ’24
Yount is a small-town offensive tackle just scratching the surface of how good he will become. Very aggressive in the run game, he fires off the line and gets a great initial punch. Consistently drives defensive ends backwards and keeps them from getting to their gaps. Plays right tackle for the Bulldogs, and as he continues to add weight and refine his game, look for him to emerge as one of the better Lone Star State linemen in the class of 2024.

RB Jaden Hodge – 5’9″ 165 / Dallas Hillcrest HS — @IowaBornJ / Class of ’23
Hillcrest High School in Dallas is loaded with playmakers on both sides of the ball, and Hodge is one of them. Lines up all over the field, but I believe running back is where he will do his damage as a college player. Boasting excellent vision, 4.4 speed, and soft hands out of the backfield, look for Jaden to really start emerging as a top recruit as his senior season gets underway.

QB JJ Acosta – 6’2″ 190 / San Antonio Taft HS — @_JayAcosta / Class of ’24
Sophomore Stats: 2,396 passing yards, 988 rushing yards, 33 touchdowns
Acosta put up some very impressive numbers last season for the Class 6A Raiders. One of the things I like about him is his ability to escape the pocket and make things happen with his legs when things break down. As a passer, he does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield, going through his progression, and finding the open man. Has been invited to a camp at Incarnate Word next month, and interest should continue to mount for the dynamic San Antonio signal-caller.

LB Alfredo Gomez – 5’11″ 190 / San Antonio HS — @Alfredo27806801 / Class of ’24
Gomez is a teammate of QB JJ Acosta, and much like him, I think this young man has a bright future ahead of him. A bit undersized, he makes the most of every rep and is a tough, gritty outside linebacker who should put up some fantastic numbers for the Raiders this season. He does a nice job of fighting through blocks to get downhill and make plays, and flashes a quick first step to blow by offensive linemen and get into the backfield.

G Keyshawn Williams – 6’3″ 305 / Dekaney HS — @0Keyshawn0 / Class of ’24
Williams excels as a puller and is tough as nails at the point of attack. Does a great job of keeping his legs churning and really punishing defenders who get in his way. There’s a lot to like about the Division 1-bound trench bully as he enters his junior season.
Currently has one FCS offer from Grambling.
