Northeast Has Plenty of Talent

<strong>ST. PETERSBURG NORTHEAST FOOTBALL</strong><strong> 2022. </strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Shawn Davis <strong>2021 Record: </strong>9-2 <strong>THE VIKINGS</strong> Getting off to a 6-0 start last season, there was never doubting this football team. While they did lose in the first round to Riverview Sumner, this was a program that had enough talent to take things further, and that was the theme this spring as they look to make a legitimate playoff run in 2022. The loss (8-6) to Sumner stung – as did the setback against Gulfport Boca Ciega (21-13), but what this program had played off this off-season is the 9-1 regular season – with wins against Palm Harbor University (32-7), St. Petersburg Gibbs (31-14), Largo Pinellas Park (13-12), Clearwater Countryside (42-7), St. Petersburg Hollins (21-20), Seminole (21-12) and Largo (21-14).
