We always strive to make these rankings as thorough and comprehensive as possible here at Prep Redzone and our last rankings update, before the start of the 2021 high school season, featured several hundred prospects in the Class of 2024. But in the months since those were released we have seen some intriguing prospects emerge.
Here is a look at some prospects who are making their debuts in the rankings:
DL-OL Quinton Bradley Quinton Bradley 6'3" | 300 lbs | DL North Kansas City | 2024 State MO , Central (KC)
Bradley, a 6-foot-3, 300-pounder, enters the rankings at No. 14 overall in Missouri in the Class of 2024 and as the second-best defensive tackle and fourth-best defensive lineman.
He also plays on the offensive line, of course, and could end up being a better prospect on that side of the ball, but we really like his disruptive ability and size on defense.
DB Allen Brown Allen Brown 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Eureka | 2024 State MO , Eureka
A 5-11, 170-pound cornerback, Brown debuts in the 2024 rankings at No. 59 overall and as the fourth-best defensive back prospect following an impressive performance at the Elite Football Combine in March.
Brown had nice all-around day at the Combine that included a pro-agility time of 4.44 seconds, a broad jump of 8 feet 8 inches, a vertical leap of 30.5 inches, a powerball toss of 34-4 and a 40-yard dash of 4.88 seconds.
That followed a sophomore season that saw Brown earn first-team all-conference honors after recording 27 tackles, five interceptions and one sack.
TE Tionne Gray Tionne Gray 6'5" | 305 lbs | DL Hazelwood Central | 2024 State MO , Cardinal Ritter
Measuring in at 6-5 and 275 pounds at the Elite Football Combine, Gray is a prospect we can see playing Division I football as a tight end or offensive lineman. He recently picked up his first scholarship offer from Arkansas, which has done a good job recruiting the St. Louis area with assistant coaches with ties to St. Louis.
Gray, who debuts in the rankings at No. 11 overall and as the second-best tight end prospect, caught three passes for 29 yards and recorded 55 tackles and five sacks as a defensive lineman at Carnahan High School before transferring to Cardinal Ritter.
OL Steven Jamison Steven Jamison 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL St. Mary's | 2024 IL , St. Mary’s
Jamison stands 6-4 and 275 pounds with a projectable frame and body that screams Division I prospect. He looked good when we saw him at the Elite Football Combine in March and expect him to continue to work hard to get better and better.
Jamison enters the rankings at No. 55 overall, and the No. 13 offensive lineman, but he could be a player who gets a lot of attention from college coaches this summer and makes a big move up the list next time.
QB Sam Kaiser Sam Kaiser 6'5" | 210 lbs | QB Rock Bridge | 2024 State MO , Rock Bridge
Kaiser is an impressive looking quarterback prospect at 6-5 and 210 pounds, which actually makes him one of the biggest quarterback prospects in Missouri in this class. Rock Bridge has a new head coach in Matt Perkins, formerly of West Plains, and it will be interesting to see how he utilizes Kaiser’s skill set in his offense.
