Gallegoz is transferring to Garces Memorial from Stockdale where he really struggled as a junior last season. When you watch his film you see reasons why he struggled but you also see flashes of a quality quarterback. His pass protection at Stockdale was frankly quite bad and he was constantly on the run. There are regular drop back pass plays that look like screens because the protection was so bad. He’s a solid athlete that can improvise with his legs and throw off-platform. When he gets the chance to plant his feet and throw he puts some zip on the intermediate throws. Garces is a much better team than Stockdale and runs an offense more suitable for him so it will be interesting to see what he does in that new environment. He got invited to some junior days and could get some offers depending on his senior season.

Tagg Harrison Tagg Harrison 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Tolleson | 2025 State AZ , Pacifica (Oxnard)
I saw Harrison at the Under Armour Next All-American camp recently and he was one of the better 2025 quarterbacks in attendance. He has a plus arm for a guy in his class. His footwork looks better in a camp setting than it does on film, but it’s something he is working on and has plenty of time to improve. He sometimes eyes down his primary target but that’s common for a freshman at the varsity level. He’s a solid athlete that can throw off-platform and has a really high ceiling. Louisville has already offered him.
Pacifica ties the score 7-7 on a fade from Tagg Harrison to Savion Taylor. Freshman to Freshman connection. Pacifica is going to be really good really soon. pic.twitter.com/SPicuH6ZRZ

Seth Shigg Seth Shigg 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2025 State CA , Lawndale
Shigg has the receiver-type speed as a quarterback and takes advantage of it. He’s a true dual threat and is extremely dangerous when the pocket breaks down or on quarterback draws. As a passer, there is a lot to like about his game and a some things he needs to work on. He’s a lefty who has a solid arm and makes good decisions with the football. A lot of his throws are off-platform and sometimes that is because of poor pass protection but sometimes the pocket is fine but he is a little too eager to use his legs and roll out. He is a good academic guy with a 4.3 GPA and you can tell he is putting in work this offseason. Shigg has a good foundation and could develop into a very high-level passer.

Sammy Silvia, Culver City
Silvia was one of the best quarterbacks in the LA City Section at Palisades last season and is stepping up and transferring to Culver City. He is 6-foot-1 and looks very comfortable in the pocket when you watch his film. He is best on intermediate level throws. He has a high release point and he dips his front shoulder a bit on his release but can fire the ball in there. He throws a nice deep ball and sets his feet well. He is a solid athlete but there aren’t a lot of off-platform throws on his film and he probably didn’t have to make many last year because Palisades was better than just about every team they played. Culver City recently produced a college quarterback in Zevi Eckhaus and its quarterback last season Alonzo Contreras Alonzo Contreras 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Calabasas | 2024 State CA is a Power 5 prospect who transferred to Sierra Canyon. It will be interesting to see if he can adjust to the higher level of competition he will face at Culver City.
