Will Helms and I are doing a review on ten of the players in the group. There are some very talented young football players in the group. My review will cover the five players listed.
Max Guest Max Guest 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB AC Reynolds | 2025 NC , 5’9″ 170, (No. 1 Overall/No. 1 RB), AC Reynolds HS. Max follows his blockers looking for an opening and accelerates past defenders for big gains, scoring often. He runs with good balance and power on the inside runs, picking up tough yardage. He displayed good vision while looking for openings. Max does not go down after initial contact is made, continues to drive for additional yards. He displayed good hands on the catches made on pass plays. He displayed good speed in the open field, making it tough to catch him. Max’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for the talented running back.
David Sanders Jr., 6’6″ 250, (No. 6 Overall/No. 1 OL), Providence Day HS. David is quick out of his stance to make contact with defender. Displayed good footwork and technique to control defender. David utilized his technique and upper body strength to drive-block defender out of the play. He displayed good speed and mobility for a big offensive lineman while opening lanes for the running back. A special talent with a very high ceiling. David’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for the talented offensive lineman.
Gus Ritchey, 6’3″ 230, (No. 11 Overall/No. 1 ATH), Northwood HS. Gus plays on offense and defense for his team. He will have the greatest impact on defense. Gus is exceptionally quick out of his stance, good use of hands, moving past the blockers, often unblocked on his way into the backfield. His quickness and burst of speed out of his stance makes it very difficult to block him. Gus is expected to continue his high-level of play during the upcoming season. Gus already has several Power 5 offers, which are expected to continue as he participates in Summer Prospect Camps.
Demon June Jr. Demon June Jr. 5'11" | 215 lbs | RB Jacksonville | 2025 State NC , 6’0″ 235, (No. 2 Overall/No. 2 RB), Jacksonville HS. Damon follows blockers to find an opening to gain yards. He is a power runner with good speed and the ability to accelerate past defenders in the open field. Damon is a strong inside runner who runs over would-be tacklers while gaining yards, scoring often. He finished the season with 985 rushing yards and 21 rushing TDs. Damon is a gifted big back who is a combination of power and speed to get outside and pick up big yardage. Damon’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for the talented running back.
Luke Whitt Luke Whitt 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL West Stokes | 2025 State NC , 6’1″ 255, (No. 4 Overall/No. 2 OL), East Surry HS. Luke is quick out of his stance to make contact with defender. He displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders. Luke uses upper body strength and quickness to drive-block defenders out of the play. He utilizes his low center of gravity and quickness to open lanes for the running back. Luke’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for the talented offensive lineman.
