’23 DB Benjamin Eck
Eck is a unique athlete who is a many-time state-champion lacrosse player who wishes to dual-sport in college. Having seen him today and having just watched his tape, I have a pretty good idea of who he is as an athlete. First and foremost, Eck seems like a true competitor. He isn’t the biggest, fastest, or strongest at 5’10 175, but I see top-tier effort and grit during his 9-min highlight tape. Equally as important, Eck displays textbook DB fundamentals, being a great press player while also being a PBU machine. His competitiveness and body language remind me of ’22 Grand Blanc Hunter Ames Hunter Ames 6'2" | 165 lbs | QB Grand Blanc | 2022 MI , who is set to play Football and Baseball at Hope. I’m interested to see where Eck lands in college.
’23 TE Henry Garrity Henry Garrity 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Brother Rice | 2023 State MI
A well-known prospect, Henry Garrity Henry Garrity 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Brother Rice | 2023 State MI is a great TE with an outstanding GPA who has accumulated a few Division 1 and top-tier Division 2 offers. He’s all 6’4, 220, and an athletic, imposing player on the football field. Henry tested well, and he was very outgoing and enthusiastic throughout. On film, he’s proved himself in all the essential aspects, being a great blocker and jump ball player. Henry also has experience lining up as a receiver or in a more standard TE spot on the line. Garrity is close to that absolute top-tier of TEs, and if he has a sensational season, he may get those B1G offers.
’23 ATH Langston Nevils
Langston is a pure athlete. Described as a “swiss army knife” by Head Coach Adam Korzeniewski, Langston Nevils showed his athleticism this morning. I also hear that he can throw the ball well. It will be interesting to see how he’s utilized this coming season as I see unique potential in him.

’23 LB/DE Andrew LaBarre Andrew LaBarre 6'1" | 230 lbs | ATH Brother Rice | 2023 State MI
Labarre is a game-wrecker, as displayed by his tape. He’s strong, athletic, and can straight-up compete. As Korzeniewski said this morning, someone will take a chance on Labarre and benefit significantly from it. I’ve seen a good amount of work from Labarre this offseason, whether in the weight room, offseason camps, tackling clinics, etc. Korzeniewski says he can 100% play linebacker at the next level, and I’m interested to see where he ends up landing.

’23 TE/DE Nolan Shannon
Nolan is an exciting prospect because he’s a great 6’3 TE who plays under an elite TE. Honestly, I don’t have much to say about Shannon, but Korzeniewski did emphasize that he will “play a lot” this season.
’25 OL Chrisitan Sohm
Sohm is a promising offensive lineman that measures in at 6’2 240lbs. Brother Rice has had some elite linemen in the past, and being given early praise by Korzeniewski is an excellent place to start. I caught a glimpse of him during drills, but nothing really stood out to me. If Sohm works his tail off and maybe grows a few inches, he could be an elite recruit in the future.
