There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Joel Velasquezj- Crystal River High c/o 24
5’10 175lbs
Velasquezj is one of the top returning backs for the District in 2022. The Crystal River athlete rushed for 659 yards, averaged 5 yards per carry with seven rushing touchdowns and one 100 yd rushing game in 2021. He also was third on the team with 6 receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown through the air. He contributes heavily on both sides of the ball and is the team’s leading returning tackler with 61. Operates mainly out of the wildcat and shows good vision and the ability to find the cut back lane and hit it up inside, has good lateral agility and acceleration to the edge. He’ll be a player Crystal River relies on heavily in 2022.

Kendy Harilus- Dunnellon High c/o 23
5’11 180lbs
With a senior heavy team that graduated last season, Harilus will look to take on a bigger role for the Dunnellon Tigers in 2022. He’s the team’s leading returning rusher with 103 yards and averaged 7 yards per carry with 2 rushing touchdowns. He shows a lot of speed and consistently gets to the numbers for big plays, will drop his shoulder and run through tackles if needed, accelerates through the hole quickly and into the second level. I believe he’s going to have a huge season for Dunnellon.

Jamare Dorsey- South Sumter High c/o 24
5’9 180bs
South Sumter is a team loaded with good backs, and Dorsey might be the best out of all of them. The sophomore is the team’s leading rusher and ran for 927 yards, average 6 yards per carry, with 15 rushing touchdowns and two 100 yard rushing games. He has very quick feet in the hole, shows vision and consistently finds the crease for big runs, and can change directions smoothly without slowing down. Coaches need to get over to South Sumter in Bushnell, Florida and check him out ASAP!
