<strong>THE GRYPHONS</strong>
While the 2021 season was certainly frustrating for this program, the objective has never wavered.
Getting out of the gate with wins over Tampa Blake (65-0), Tampa Middleton (33-6), Tampa King (45-0) and Tampa Alonso (47-17), it appeared that the playoffs would be a formality, but things didn’t work out that way.
Following those four consecutive wins, the season ended on a sour note, losing five of the final six games, only beating Tampa Leto (65-0).
As the off-season began, this team focused on those setbacks, which came against quality opponents, but at the same time, if this team is going to be in the playoff mix, they ate going to need to win games against area elite programs.
With a commitment to getting over the hump, here is a look at some of the prospects to keep an eye on this spring and into the summer:
