Weekly Recruiting Roundup: April 10th-16th

In the state of Georgia, recruiting never stops. Every week, there are numerous noteworthy developments to track on the recruiting trail. This past week, there were plenty of offers and commitments that made headlines. Here is everything you missed wrapped into one article. <strong>April 10th</strong> <ul> <li>2023 Langston Hughes S [player_tooltip player_id="34023" first="Terrance" last="Love"] commits to Auburn.</li> <li>2022 Johns Creek RB Tylan Johnson commits to Mercer,</li> <li>2023 Kennesaw Mountain DB Jaylen Moson picks up an offer from Akron. Moson also holds offers from Tulsa, Lehigh, Furman, and Fordham. Most of those offers have come in the past week.</li> </ul> <strong>April 11th</strong> <ul> <li>2024 Jefferson LB [player_tooltip player_id="137488" first="Sammy" last="Brown"] picks up an offer from LSU. Brown is considered a blue-chip prospect and holds offers from schools like Georgia, Clemson, and Alabama.</li> <li>2023 Buford QB Dylan Wittke picks up an offer from Virginia Tech. Since then, Wittke also picked up an offer from USF on April 14th.</li> <li>2023 Callaway DL Sam Williams commits to Wake Forest. Williams also held offers from schools like Stanford and West Virginia.</li> </ul> <strong>April 13th</strong> <ul> <li>2023 Grayson DB Michael Daughtery commits to LSU. Daughtery held offers from schools like Auburn, North Carolina, and Arkansas.</li> <li>2024 Langston Hughes QB [player_tooltip player_id="137477" first="Prentiss" last="Noland"] picks up an offer from Akron. Noland is one of the best 2024 signal-callers in Georgia, and holds offers from schools like Auburn, Ole Miss, and Duke.</li> </ul> <strong>April 14th</strong> <ul> <li>2025 Evans OL [player_tooltip player_id="321486" first="Mason" last="Short"] visits and picks up an offer from Alabama. Short, standing at 6’6, is one of the best players in the entire 2025 class. Along with Alabama, Short recently picked up offers from Ohio State and Virginia Tech. That Virginia Tech offer came on April 16th.</li> <li>2023 Blessed Trinity LB [player_tooltip player_id="34070" first="Mavrick" last="Torrico"] picks up an offer from Brown. Torrico, one of the most underrated players in the state, has also added recent offers from Lehigh, Holy Cross, Air Force, and Princeton.</li> </ul> <strong>April 15th</strong> <ul> <li>2023 Gainesville WR Darrius Cannon picks up an offer from UNLV. Cannon, who recently received an offer from Morehouse, is a breakout candidate on the trail with a big senior season on the horizon. UNLV was his first FBS offer.</li> </ul> <strong>April 16th</strong> <ul> <li>2023 Langston Hughes WR Robert Lockhart releases his top 3 of Maryland, Colorado, and Jackson State. At 5’7, Lockhart is one of the best playmakers at the WR spot that you will find across the entire state.</li> </ul>
