They are extremely young and are still developing in their training. When it comes to their play and skill on the football field, a lot of these young guns have shown bits and spurts of an exponential amount of potential! Their bodies are still being built as well and they are only going to get faster and improve in their play. Take a peep at some of the best underclassmen in the class of 2025 in the city of San Antonio, Texas.
Ian Luna- 5’9 155Ibs/RB/ Brandeis High School
Analysis: Ian Luna is a very young talent that I see becoming a force in the next three years at Brandeis High School. He has very good ball carry vision and welcomes contact trucking defenders left and right. This young man has a lot of burst out of the backfield and has the wheels to pull away from opponents as well! If he has to make a play and get extra yards, Luna does a tremendous job at finding cut back lanes to make a big play for his team! The more he plays and train, Ian Lunas will become a stud in the future!
Christopher Valenzuela- 5’9 225Ibs/LT,DT/ Brandeis High School
Analysis: Christopher Valenzuela is an interesting lineman to keep your eye on. When it comes to his blocking technique, he makes sure to keep leverage and stay low and drive. He is very explosive off of the ball and drives his opponents into the ground. Also, he has really good strength for his size. I see him becoming a brick wall in the future when he gets in the weight room and develop his body! The sky is the limit for this young man if he is trained properly and keeps up his level of play.
Diego Sostre- 5’9 155Ibs/WR,OLB/ Churchill High School
Analysis: Diego Sostre is a young talent to keep your eye out on in the future and for a good reason. Sostre can make plays in the kick return game on special teams. He has the explosion and has enough speed to hit the open hole and help his team by having good returns. When he is at the wide receiver position on offense, he displays he has good hands, and with more training, he will only get better at catching the ball. His route running skills needs some improvement, but he still gets the job done by finding a way to get open. Keep a watch on him in the future, and see how his development improves!
Nicola Pari- 5’9 170Ibs/RB,OLB/ Churchill High School
Analysis: Nicola Pari is a running back that can develop into a really good power back. It is very difficult to bring this young man down if you do not wrap him up, and tackle properly. He has a good build and solid stature, and with more dedication to the weight room, Pari will build an even stronger body. Pari needs to develop some more speed, and when he does, he will be even more dangerous. On the other side of the ball, playing outside linebacker, Pari tackles very well. He maintains gap discipline, and does a tremendous job taking on, and shedding blocks to make a play. Keep your eye on him moving forward!
Jacob Bentley- 6’4 240Ibs/LT,DE/ Churchill High School
Analysis: Jacob Bentley is a young talent that can go very far in his high school career. Just a freshman, he already has the size and build to play the left tackle position, as well as the defensive end position. He will naturally gain more muscle and weight by training and developing his body in the weight room! He has decent footwork and quickness, but still needs more improvement. Despite this, he still plays physical in the trenches and does his best to keep holes wide open for backs while protecting the quarterback. With more playing time and experience, Jacob Bentley has the potential to become a stud at the left tackle position!
